@@dukeheavens9990the thing about marvel is that their characters aren’t really popular compared to Spider-Man, hulk and wolverine. Sure guys like captain america, iron man and Thor are the trios that follows Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman, but they have horrible writing from the comics and what made them popular is mcu and then comic writers changed the trios personality and make them like same as mcu personalities. Where in dc, their character stay true to the character with the exception of vigilante and green arrow of arrowverse.

This is what The New 52 should’ve done. I get that it was a massive reboot but I feel like getting rid of things like the JSA, The Flash Family ect all that prior history was annoying to longtime DC fans. What Scott said about how All In is not a reboot or a retcon. It is such a good idea because readers who are reading books like World’s Finest or Green Lantern can still read that but if a new reader wants to jump into a new book without prior knowledge they can start with Absolute Superman or Batman or Wonder Woman or a new book entirely Also Joshua Williamson and Dan Mora on Absolute Superman. Take my money right now

One thing i love about you Modern Superman comics is the presence of the Superman Family & Corp. Hopefully they are here to stay. Regardless i think a Doomsday story if able to be written with that impending danger that he poses , should be a good story. I'm stoked for this All in initiative 💯 Lastly I still want the Universe to o continue doing it's own thing but i definitely wanna see a Milestone crossover in possibly two yrs.

I’ve been extremely busy, so I just found out about the All-In / Absolute Universe initiative (and the hubbub it’s generated, lol)- this AM. I just wanted to stop by and let all of you know that I’m OVER THE MOON EXCITED about this initiative. It’s a brilliant idea! In fact I just marked all 3 release dates on my calendar. So excited about this. The DC Absolute character designs look great and Scott Snyder writing Absolute Batman is fantastic. Nice little clues sprinkled in there as well. Like when they said Superman is setting up a new, more robust Justice League. Maybe something like the Justice League Unlimited animated series. I also like the explanation of the heroes in the Absolute universe being underdogs. Perhaps a response to the complaints that DC characters are too perfect. Williamson staying on Superman is good news. Not sure I like the idea of a new Superwoman. My only complaint about the current run is that there are too many characters to focus on besides Superman. But I'll give it a chance. Also, I wonder if the image is just a sampling of DC heroes or is that the new Justice League line-up? If so, I like that team. Zatanna was a favorite from the Satellite era and I like the idea of giving Starfire a push to the big team.

Back in day group pitch meetings produced some of the best stories and ideas in comic history. It kept continuity and consistency in plot details though multiple titles. Today most every creator's run is considered its own universe, and the pressure that comes from "owning" a run, i think theres alot of creators out there who have held back ideas until they got that dream head writing job of a character. Witch is exactly why Black Label and the Elseworlds are the best things DC have put out here of late. The creative teams are all in, holding nothing back. Looking forward to the future of DC
