Numbers wise it is a small seller. However those that buy it seem very dedicated to it. So like the last 2 issues sold out. But again we are not talking big numbers here by any stretch. I can't read it because DC screwed up the Wildstorm Universe years ago and nothing is what it was or should have been. King's Black Canary does pretty good numbers wise. There are people that buy that one too and issue out yesterday sold out for me. Now it's not a #1, but that means probably need a couple more long term for those who haven't had a shot to get it yet. Despite what King writes there are those out there who do seem to like what he does. And Wonder Woman doesn't really count, as there are a good amount of die-hards who will read WW no matter good, bad, or indifferent on the writing quality. But I won't push that title or any title King does. Everyone go grab Dr Doom/Rocket Raccoon #1 this week...real good and fun! WTF20.

The thing that really bothers me about your Tom King reviews is that they're so overblown and often miss the point of the story. A virus was necessary, it showed how in the past Jenny was frustrated that Superman couldn't beat a virus (because in her mind he has always been able to defeat everything), now that there is someone who can beat a virus (Captain Atom), she finds that he refuses too. She gets angry with him which angers him, and as a result Captain Atom fixes the virus by just wiping out the whole world. The story is about the corruption of Captain Atom. Yes, it was a bit heavy handed but saying that it was all about Covid hysteria is over the top, and there was absolutely nothing about the nature of God. You're missing out or just not getting the story, and you're extrapolating or exaggerating things that will ragebait your viewers who you know don't read the book. It just comes off as dishonest. That said, this isn't Tom Kings best work, but I wish you'd give a more balanced view instead of going for the ragebait.
