Dear Patient - you have the strength of 100 men. I cannot even imagine the pain you were in. (I deal with some pretty fierce pain daily from crippling arthritis but this blows my mind). WOW! These feet look so much better. Nice job, can't wait to see them all healed up. Young lady, I wish to thank you for sharing your story, I hope it makes others aware of what should NOT be happening in salons. They should use nothing sharp on you, ever! In fact, I only allow a doctor to touch my feet. I also do my own fingernails because salons do not use proper sterilization procedures AND they also use disposable products (orange sticks, nail files, (the sandpaper type), drill supplies (the sandpaper looking thingy like the doctor uses -{ I KNOW he tosses them after each use!} etc) on more than one customer when they should be thrown away after each use. IF they (salons) can't sterilize it, then it's disposable and should be thrown away after each customer, but they don't do that in most salons. I am surprised that more people don't end up with more health problems by going to salons.

Dr. Jefferson is the best foot doctor I have seen. He has such compassion and care for his patients. Definitely one of a kind - it is amazing the great work he does! As the client says, "You're the best!' She is spot-on! The client did go to the BEST!

I can see why! 😨 I use a pumice stone, in the bathtub, after soaking, once a week, and moisturize daily. Keeps them nice and soft. I can't see letting anyone go at my feet with an instrument like a cheese grater! But people who have pedicures in a salon, probably figure they know what they are doing.

Watching this has confirmed that the best decision I’ve made is to do my own pedicures. Takes more time but well worth it. I was a regular at the salon but then the pandemic happened.

I hope the salon is closed down. Chances are she is not the only one who was infected there and for that reason alone that salon should be dealt with !!

Doc you are great can't say it enough. Just wondering why you didn't use a scalpel instead of the nippers? I just wanted to reach in and just go along the edges and get them down. You are doing a great job with her. Last time she was in so much discomfort. Can't wait to see her next appointment.
