How many skill points into restoration is needed to do damage with demon fang? I don't have alot only 120 😅. But do i actually need to put skill points into restoration in order to do damage with this articact while using weapon attacks or will i still do damage if i keep leveling up the artifact in general 🤔

Define low? I currently have 145 sp on my current account, and I battle heal just fine. Of course I am celestial. You're main priority is to heal then deal damage. A lot of Battle Healers forget this. I spec into all healing and damage Innates and rest into Prec and use my weapon to damg. I might throw in wrath or haunt for blight depending on the content. Otherwise my full tray is healing powers.

As long as your artifacts leveled 120 or so and you have reasonable gears skill point dont matter other than the crits in other words since artifacts skill points arent as important. Most lobbies I go into only care if your good at your role and know mechanics and also communicate.

Eyes of the dusk from booster/time and space vendor equip them to get components dropping from killing enemies. Use these components from inventory and once you reach 10 each you have 3 artifacts. Non specific to enemies they drop from random enemies including open world.

If I'm not wrong celestial powers that heal have reduced damage as compared to powers that don't have heals. So in terms of battle healing, plague and consume soul's damage will be reduced, since they also heal. Death mark won't be reduced because it's not a heal. You have to read all the powers and choose the ones without damage reduction if you want the best damage output for celestial battle heal. I battle heal in 2v2 and 4v4 in arenas and it's op as hell but I use a different loadout to maximize my damage while keeping maybe one or two main heal powers to heal myself. Battle heal in pve can work for celestial but at the end of the day you're going to get outdpsed by everyone unless they suck... A full might dps role loadout would out-do battle heal any day with a 28-32k parse average for single target and 45-49k parses for adds. (average parses in jld dlc, so prolly more in this new dlc.)

@@marceloamado6223 yes, you could drop manacles for gemini if you didn't need it for survivability and you could drop the grim if you wanted to spam more Entomb for soul cloak. Just depends on how you want to play it a mix of tanking or purely focused dps

for the celestial battle heal build, I still run the admonish combo clipped with consume soul just like I would if primary healing but add the combo to consume simply between those two your still doing ok damage (even though admonish doesn't hit that hard) i like the HOT along with death mark and blessing for the shield, divine light and a healing super or guiding light. if you spec right both damage crits both healing crits, and I put 100 in resto and rest in might. Ill be in full DPS gear but in healer role and with 3 OP items and at least one elite piece my resto is sitting around 50K I have gotten where I only use malediction or benediction if I'm actually in DPS role and still want to throw out a few heals to help the group as there is so much resto just in our gear it actually helps a group in a alert a good bit since I'm putting out some heals and your still able to get the healing group buff because no one is in healer role

She also has a video of her soloing a raid battle healing. So question, do you prefer prec battle healing or might? She uses might , which do you prefer would be best?

Only celestial can might battle heal, if you try to battle heal with might as nature, water, sorcery, electric you will have terrible healing output.

@@ObsidianChill I’m curious as to why you stated that Grim is a bad artifact for battle healer? It gives 5% prec as well as 5% might and if you run a robot sidekick you don’t suffer the power regen loss at 200 rank, it’s passive damage as an art, not a lot but passive in conjunction with sidekick and yes you don’t care for the PI as a battle healer but I’m curious why wouldn’t from be an option as a battle healer? Venom dispenser now causes a suffer to power regen, not sure if it didn’t before?

you can still use this, the only artifact to add will be the Transformation Card, so if you wanted to battle heal VWD-Trans-Fang etc

i want to battle heal with celestial, my problem is i dont have much SP just 202, my artefacts are for heal over 100 but my might dps artefacts just over 80. i dont have the feeling that this battle healer LO is gonna work for me

depends on the content, I wouldn't battle heal in raids with those stats but in duo's alerts etc they don't require as much healing so you'd be ok.

If you know what your doing you can Battle Heal raids. I did. Solo. Of course this was over 2 years ago on my original account. I had something between 100-200sp. I don't know if this is still viable in current endgame as I'm still building up my character on my new account.

that won't work as a healer type powerset does not have access to powers that place debuffs so it wouldn't activate the artifact.

No point no spec into Dom really, it seems like a waste of skill points tbh. Just pick up the 80 innate on Dom by spending 1sp into Dom then throw everything else into power. Sure dom helps with healing and shields but increases are minuscule unless you are wearing all the op items that give you dominance which isn’t the case lol.

Danne 485. I still wouldn’t spend 30 into Dom lol. 5% of 2500 will only put you at like 2700 tops. As far as power goes, the more you have the faster you’ll get it back. Personal preference

That 5% you lose from the necklace is not comparable to the +5% from hybrid stat bonus cuz one is additive and the other is multiplicative

So hybrid+resto neck @26,485 restoration, hybrid+prec neck @25,647 restoration, weapons expert+prec neck @24,809 restoration. So do I lose 1676 resto or do I lose 838 resto. Despite the calculations being different the principal remains the same that I would lose 2x as much resto without having a hybrid spec, it does still compensate for the loss even though it won't be exact replacement.
