New players do not play this game it's no use the grind is real and nobody plays the old content so you're not going to get all your skill points the reason why it's so grindy it's because they want you to pay money this is a pay to win game it's very expensive for a old game but whatever you do do not spend no money on this game until you played it for a little bit and you will see what I'm talking about everything in this game is very expensive

I love dcuo, i play every day on multiple toons. I cannot think of a more massive waste of time than changing the character creation ui. It was fine the way it was previously. There are far more concerning issues that need resolved in the game.

For what ever reason these devs like to change areas of the game that need no change what so ever. Weapon mastery, Advanced mechanics, player creation screens now. If the rumors are true that the game barely has a staff anymore then you would think they would be smarter as to where they are allocating their time and resources.

I'm going to defend dual pistols as a great weapon for might based players. Since it has a legit lunge and an easy block breaker (slipshot,) I personally find it's a good all around weapon for players who mainly depend on their powers. The ability to use a weapon attack to position yourself is also vitally important.

@@ObsidianChill It's very simple, but for what it is, that's the point. You were saying it's a terrible weapon with overly complex combos. My point is positioning and block breaking matter more for might based players, and dual pistols is good for both.

​@@ObsidianChilli use it on my main. Since I'm not super speed. Those two attacks help a lot. Espesially triangle square. Helps in hallways if the groups of adds are moving slowly with the tank and i need to get close again quickly.

@@tamartin64 but when a new player sees a weapon and looks to do weapon damage dual pistols is bottom tier. A new player isn't going to be thinking about counters and positioning. There are also way smoother lunges with most of the weapons. A range blockbreaker is nice. Magnum Round doesn't even work properly with weapon mastery either.

One-handed = High complexity? Are the devs smoking something? (can I have some??) On console it's literally just tapping the same button! The only 'combos' involved are essentially just - do I tap square 5 times then hold, or tap square 6 times than hold? That's it! Also, I'd say Bow is probably more 'high' complexity than standard, same with rifle. For veterans who are used them they're easy, but for a new player? There are a couple of combos and moves involving the analog stick (again, on console) that might take a little getting used to for a complete noob. They really should have run a poll on the forums or something for the players to help them gauge these things. It's clear that a lot of the new dev team don't actually play the game (at least, further than surface level) if these complexity levels are the conclusions they've come to!

They need to have a warning about artifacts allies etc aswell on this new start screen I.e suggested starting arts same with the artifact mission so new players aren't leveling pointless artifacts

The UI looks terrible.. why don’t they show what the hair styles and clothes look like instead of just having us pick the name of them? Like how games do customisation now? The hairs are in boxes so we can see clearly what we want to pick. This is strange the UI is extremely basic and looks so cheap I’m actually ashamed.

That’s true about the munitions thing, it’s one of the most power conservative showerpower you can choose. Pop a power and in the half a second of shooting some guns your power ball is back to full

And again, services to only new players and leaves endgame players with low bank accounts and recycled content. Dcuo gives that initial high in the beginning, and it just doesn't last.

Those who complain r just people who play this on a regular basis without having really appreciation of how good this game is. Even outdated it still have everything you expect from a game. Just count how many marvel games was closed. When i say closed imagine the people put in their hearts into it just to shut it down after you get a tase of it. Man play marvel games now be trash free to play player or the most toxic pay2win. Who gives a flyng f about good graphics is if the game is boring or lackluster. Diablo 4 is so modern it sucked.

We need new powers. I have a couple of ideas. Wind (wind blade attacks that can break guards, wind knock back attacks for crowd control, speed increase, granting speedy flight, maybe a wind based transformation, etc) and Anatomy (stretching, self duplication, shapeshift, etc).

This entire character creation update is dumb, majority of dcs population isn’t going to be using this, this seems like a wasted effort. This game came out more than ten years ago I think, who’s still making a character, must of us are over level 400 and won’t be using this. Instead maybe add better league halls, or maybe a new power? You can also click on the little thing over the lock icon (also in your style menu) to change the sectioned colours
