This mentally is one that I definitely love a lot. But for me personally if had to add anything I would say that this way of working doesn't have be stressful one where every fail hurts you, rather if you love the process failing will effect you less. Try, learn, and discover how to enjoy the process as much as possible and you will eventually get where you want to be. It is not the destination, it is not the journey...it is both. This is something that I have had a hard time following through with in my own life, but hopefully I can do so sooner rather than later. I am tired of not being good at what I am passionate about.
@ddmarkk2 жыл бұрын
yup i 100 percent agree! enjoying the process is important. But what im saying is failure is not something to be afraid of, its something that should be embraced. but yea i still agree with everything you said a thousand percent!

Choose 1 thing, and obsess over it, for me it was my OC, I guarantee results. My OC went from looking like derpy code geass,derpy Ouran host club, derpy as they cry...to symmetrical and appealing like eden zero, hells paradise, chainsawman. Choose your favorite original character, and tell yourself I want my OC to look like this. Only draw your 1 character every day or close to everyday for like 30 mins to like an hour a day for like 7 months. It works. Takes discipline, takes consistency. Me I drew my Original waifu every day, I was prideful and honest , this drawing doesn't look attractive so I kept redrawing and redrawing her every day for months, I used references, I practice I practice. Then now it's finally acceptable. I drew my original waifu, in the same pose, in multiple poses, at least 3000 times, no lie, computer paper and notebook paper, on flashcard draw. Draw, draw, obsess obsess. Obsess.

Sometimes I keep being torn between studying backgrounds and anatomy. 4:23 My name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.

@chadisbosh12 жыл бұрын
It's more than passion, it's an obsession, it's alot of sacrifice and it can get unhealthy and lonely many times. Watch the 2006 movie prestige and you'll understand the meaning of what it is to be brilliant and the darkness that no one sees or talks about. Tell a great story, when you know, you know, because it's a story with the special sauce, a story you can't forget, a story that needs to be told. The secret sauce is an honest story that pierces your soul and tells you a truth you always knew but it's told in a way that you never expected and leaves you in awe. Stories with the sauce: the boxer, Alice in borderlands, mosquito wars,the city of imprisoned love, my hero academia, kaiju 8, chainsawman

that is also why I improved fast, but I used to live a flasr narrative of wanting to create a manga, even drawing. but as mentioned in this video, All I did was Talk. no work, or anything. I kept living that false narrative until recently, where I created my first one shot. it's still in the works as I make a page every week. back to the main topic, I, too, was someone who took Multiple L's in life. those L's we're going to make me give up and play games. while I still play video games, I heald on to my goal in mind: to create manga. or even my own anime. not only do I use a second method to learning quick (80/20 rule), but my L's are also assisting me.

This video was so helpful ty, I have ADD and I really want to prove to myself that I can become an artist (specifically a manga artist), so I was wondering if you could give me the list of the drawing fundamentals so I can use them, I often lose the drive to keep trying, do to school and other stuff but I've really wanted to prove to myself that I can do this and that all I need is to practice the fundamentals and I need the drive, also your videos are really inspiring and help a lot.

Spend 1 month drawing your OC every day for 30 mins to 1 hr.. use reference, don't have to invent the wheel just use 4 wheels and start rolling. Me personally I chose to draw an attractive original waifu haru nonaka [Sing Yesterday for me], that was my base, but my style, 4 wheels I took the easiest parts for me to draw from other animes and copied, eden zero, nisekoi, chainsawman, my hero academia. To get good at stories try writing a manga thats 12 chapters, get good at ending things and pacing. Hardest part is drawing anime face, getting eye spacing and mouth spacing right, nose is best cuz 90% of anime nose is dot. Just draw every day, your own oc, specifically, took me 7 months to get mine to an acceptable level of yea, good enough for rule 34, passable for studio trigger..it's anatomical, symmetrical, attractive enough
@lukesenia74082 жыл бұрын
@@chadisbosh1 Ty that helps a lot, the thing is I already have the story down and I've been practicing short stories, so now I just need to work on Character design, I don't find drawing the faces hard it's actually the easiest for me, the thing I find hard is drawing the body so I'm trying to get all the help I can, I'm basically a complete noob at drawing, the only thing I am good at drawing is the face of characters, like for my OC I tried drawing Tanjiro's head with my characters face and hair, I'm a complete noob and my ADD doesn't make it any easier, but anyway ty very much for your advice.

Can you make a vid on your torso construction ? I rlly like your art style
@chadisbosh12 жыл бұрын
His style is like jujitsu kaisen, bleach, one punch man, death note, boichi, Dr stone.. it has appealing anatomy with stylized sharpness at the right body parts. Start drawing. Draw your own original character, and try drawing em the way they deserve to be depicted, pride, passion, consistency, obsession will get the job done. Focus on drawing 1 character, your favorite character good enough, once you master that one thing, then you could draw your 2nd character of opposite gender, then you have a base to draw all your characters, now that you have characters you can finally tell a story. Me, I got good at drawing a single female character, took 7 months. I focused on perfecting the face/head, once that got right, drawing the other body parts were easy as pie. My OC was based on haru nonaka [Sing Yesterday for me] but I stylized her to have face like eden zero, eyes like kaiju 8, chainsawman, proportions like my hero academia and hands and feet like nisekoi. You want to draw good, then draw 1 thing good over and over and over again till it actually is good
