Finding My Dream Car 800 Miles Away In the Pouring Rain! A Real 2-Door Hardtop!

I was an independent U-Haul dealer for like 20 years and during that time I found the easiest way to load a car on one of those trailers without a power winch is to use a tow rope with a snatch block or recovery ring. Tie your snatch block/ring somewhere in the front middle area of the trailer then run your tow rope off the front of vehicle needing loaded up to and through the snatch block/ring and attach the other end of the rope to another vehicle. Use that vehicle to pull on the rope and it will pull what ever your trying to load right up on the trailer. If you don’t have a second vehicle you can also run the line from through the snatch block/ring and hook it to something solid like a tree then drive forward with the tow vehicle and it will pull the car right up on the transport. Come alongs can to take forever so just gotta use a little physics.

You skipped over that ‘59 Chevy that was sitting by the 4 door ‘57. It was covered up by hoods so I couldn’t tell if it was an impala or a 2 or 4 door but it was still a ‘59 and where I’m from those are usually worth picking up even if just to flip. 25:20

In the early 70's, my dad had a built and blue printed street Bel air- 2 door that was fully painted copper like a shiny penny and that thing was straight up nasty!. It would lift the front tires off the ground on launch with slicks. It unfortunately was totaled by a drunk driver that rear ended the chevy. (dad was ok) other than a broken heart, back then they weren't as priceless as they are now. they pulled the motor and trans and idk what happened to the 57 from there? But this made me think of his! What a rare find, congrats!
