I personally consider the "Never Hike" trilogy to piece together into one big canon sendoff to the original Friday franchise. It gives a fantastic endcap and closure to damn near everything with a perfect way to finally finish off Jason for good by giving him a reason to pass on (the welcoming of his mother into the afterlife) in addition to killing him off the same way that got him started (with a beheading on the shores of Crystal Lake).

I love the horror community its so much more bigger than I'd ever thought it'd be and I love how also tight knit it is for so many people connected to the franchise came back in some way to add to this love letter of a movie to the franchise. It's a secret blessing cause of the legal troubles to be able to have made this and have so much pay off for returning characters and have so much style to how it comes out from creative shots to killer fx like this is just so sweet to see just how much effort and detail went into this.
