I believed there was something wrong with me for a long long time because i was so sensitive and didnt seem to find socialising easy like others (or at least i perceived others found it easy). Only recently i realised its ok to be a little different.. even if you are not totally comfortable in situations where others might be. SO then i finally started to have a little self love for myself.

I'm experiencing this now. I don't know how to socialize without anxiety and it's hurting my self-esteem. I try to live in the moment and appreciate life but people often times take advantage of my good nature and that too hurts my self esteem and desire to do good. I'm just lost...ugh

you're probably very introverted like me. I felt very much like that, until I just stopped trying so hard to be like others. It's the best thing indeed. Doing more research on introversion also helped a lot :-)

I think it's very important to make the difference between self-esteem and self confidence, a person can have a high self esteem (which is conscious) but low self confidence (unconscious, difficult to control) and possibly the other way around too, someone who doesn't think particularly highly of himself yet naturally (unconsciously) acts and speaks with good confidence; Anybody else feels the same ?

Appreciate, count simple blessings, "I'm breathing, I had a meal, I have family". Not focusing on the one negative thing and exaggerating when there are 9 other good things being neglected of focus. Journal to note the good. Habituate to train the mind to think positively over time instead of leaving it to propensities - whim (untrained mind). Good video ✨🌕🌈

such a powerful message. Thank you for sharing. another simple practice that I find useful when I am faced with a daunting task is just to surrender, be humble, and take the position of a student. you can improve your skill in anything, and achieve anything if you are willing to learn. the whole idea of "self-estimate" makes no sense to me.

I struggle with generalized anxiety disorder and I think self esteem is a big part of it. I'm searching for answers and mingyur just confirmed I know what I had to do I just don't do it. Anxietys good friend lazy haha.
