True. Also Dean cared for many who were like younger siblings or even children to him, even temporarily: Adam, Jo, Chrissy, Ben, Charlie, Alex, Claire and Jack. (My fanfic is BEYOND ridiculous, lol, but in it Dean not only has 1 OLDER brother, but 7 younger siblings in ADDITION to Sam.)

Damon was biologically Stefan's older brother, but he wasn't his ride to die. He didn't mind Stefan dying when he was human, as long as he would be turned into a vampire by Katherine to live eternity with her. That's why he was such an asshole to Stefan, because Katherine turned him too. Not only this, but he tried glamouring Elena into kissing him when she made is clear he wasn't interested in him.

while I mostly agree, because they were literally backstabbing each other all the time, It was Stefan who wanted Damon to become a vampire because he didn't want to be alone. Damon trying to help Stefan come off his vampire blood binge... To me that part parellels Dean trying to get Sam off Demon blood. And the literal backstabbing to me, is like how Dean punches Sam when he's really pissed at him. Damon stakes Stefan the same way because he knows it won't kill him... my opinion, but my opinion.

Highly intelligent, emotionally intelligent, compassionate, always questioning everything, strong willed, independent minded, determined, selfless, righteous, albeit hard to read but that is because Sam is such a complex person due to the enigma of all that I aforestated. Sam is such a uniquely wonderful and inspirational person, to have this person in your life...now wouldn't that be something.

I love it how Dean wears the present given by Sam even when it wasn't actually was for him and Sam at that time being a kid didn't realize how much It meant to Dean.. Although in the near seasons It became a God detector 😂 And well Dean warned Cas not to break it. But behind the scenes as it was hurting Jensen always when he fights , he asked for it being removed and all 😅😅 just felt right at that time as Sam who was once that fond of Dean wasn't in the next seasons due to the Ruby issue. The first few seasons were better than the last ones for sure
