Great vid again J TC Electronic are a very good brand indeed imo I use the spark ⚡️ boost and it is top notch! Great tones from that unit you’ve reviewed, it really does sound JTM 👍🏻 Did you get your Marshall valve amp fixed John? The LP tribute sounded great through that wee amp 👍🏻👍🏻🎸

Some fabulous tones here John. I have to admit, although my favourite guitar featured is, perhaps, the Jet Tele, I also LOVE the PRS. I have never gravitated to PRS guitars, no idea why as they are spectacularly great instruments ( maybe it's, like you, my aversion to the Liberache-ness ? is that a word ? lol of the racing pigeons 🙂 ) but by crikey, they do sound lovely ( and play lovely if memory serves me right ) I also want to shout out the black Harley Benton P90 guitar ( what ever model it is ) It sounds amazing ! - The TC Electronic JIMS45 is a proper piece of kit at a very reasonable price. It really suits your playing John. At a hundred nicker, it's a no brainer ! x

I will be getting that Jim’s 45 pedal when I can. The twin reverb one looks and sounds great too, it’s a toss up which to try and get first.

Hi John. Great review. The only downside of this particular pedal is the lack effect loop for a headphone usage. In that case, you can’t benefit from an extra reverb or whatever. Other than that, it’s tempting 😉

Most of us only gig with one amp anyway. How many different overdrive tones do you need? The joy here is also achieving those cranked tones at manageable volumes, and even if you were using the original amp, there'd still be a few pedals on the floor.

Just bought on JR. I have a Boss SD-1 and an ODB-3 on my pedal board that I use for an over driven sound and distortion. I've just bought this to swap out the Boss ODB-3 for the heavy sounds. I wonder if it could replace both pedals? 🤔

Hi John, can you come out of the pedal straight into the return of an effect loop, or do yo have to go into the preamp in on your amp? cheers

Yes you can go straight into the FX return using the pedal as a preamp 👍

There ia a nice bunch of tones you can get with Jim. Just don't ask him for money.
