blizzard Blissless they work great for bass. I bought one in loon and bone color after watching my friend catch multiple 3-4.5 pounders. The best part is that it already comes with a swivel up front so you won’t twist your line if the fins get tangled in vegetation. It’s always tied on my top water rod.

@@paulward4078 I Got one in XXX shad it runs well and makes alot of commotion I havnt had many topwater bites around here though I only caught some little guys but it just looks so good and for 9 and changed that's not to bad compared to a whopper plopper
@paulward40785 жыл бұрын
blizzard Blissless I haven’t had much luck on top water for the last few weeks until this evening. You definitely can’t go wrong with the price since they are about $3 cheaper than the whopper plopper. All I did was upgrade the trebles and let it rip. Have you tried throwing any spooks or poppers since fall started? The bigger bass here seem to like the walking and chugging baits at the moment.
@classicshoelaces14655 жыл бұрын
@@paulward4078 I tried a popper for a little while couldn't get much action I dont throw walking baits all to much do to the fact that my local spots have been over fished and dont seem to have much size I did have a couple that I got off logs and dieing vegetation with a frog but that's about it I will have to pick up a super spook junior or puppy some time and try that thanks for the advice.

Debo, I feel your pain. I went through a dry spell. I caught three last night. Took my five year old daughter out a couple times recently, got skunked one morning and had to grind for a couple hours just to get one. She was bored and didn’t want to reel it in by that point, but she wanted to hold it haha. I felt your pain from the jackhammer video though, I was getting skunked and breaking everything off and broke a rod that trip. But hey, dinks count too!

I'm not sure it's just you I could only find 8oz fish up shallow. Larger adults already full and heading out??

I don't know. There may have been bigger fish out deeper. We talked to four other boats that day and nobody had caught anything over 2lbs. I think there is something wrong??? Guess well try it next year.

DinkFest 2019! I as well had a horrible 3 weeks until last Monday. All of a sudden the bite came back with a fury. 3-4lb bass out of a small creek

What type of reel would you prefer on that Fritts rod......
@DEBOSFishing5 жыл бұрын
The reel on it is amazing. It's just a more expensive reel. If you wanted to put it together as a budget combo, something like a LFS speed spool or daiwa fuego.

How many times do you need to re-tie when catching bass in numbers like this? I'm sure frays and abrasions occur at some point.

Do you think that Med/Moderate Rod would also handle lipless as well as it did Squarebills? Also would you suggest 10lb fluoro or do you prefer 12lb fluoro?

Love the video bro... I'm about the numbers as well when it comes to the Bass Feesh. Hope this fall is good for you and your channel man. What is a decent cranking rod for the budget minded? I've been using a Shakespeare navigator, but it's a little short 5 ft 6in.... ! Oh and I too think the dual video between you and randizzle is a great feature to your recent vids brother! And as always, Tight lines and bent rods keep rippin dem lips...!!!👊👊👊

What do you mean when you say "you shouldn't pair this reel with this rod"? I'm still new to fishing so I'm curious why.
@DEBOSFishing5 жыл бұрын
That reel was a little more expensive. Generally is say to spend more on the reel than the rod. I got that rod on sale for $49. But it's all about what you prefer.

My Grandmother was the same way, Lol. We had a family gathering at my Sister's place, my Mother and I went to the nearby lake for a short fishing trip while dinner was being fixed. I caught a keeper sized bass, and when we got back I was telling everyone, my Grandmother said where is it? I said I released it, she said "why did you do that?" , I said I just wanted to catch one, and she had more words about why catch fish just to release them. My Mother and I laugh about that often.
@DEBOSFishing5 жыл бұрын
Hahahah yep. Different generation with a different outlook on why they fish. My grandparents had nothing growing up so to them it was a matter of actually eating that night. I totally get it. Thanks for watching, Russell!
