A non-Simpsons example that's commonly used as "evidence" in "predictive programming" videos is the cover of the October 1976 issue of Sesame Street Magazine with an oversized Cookie Monster scaling the Twin Towers which have giant bite marks in them, as though Cookie monster chomped on them like a cookie. The thing is, that Sesame Street Magazine cover is a parody of the then-upcoming 1976 remake of King Kong, the climax of which took place at the World Trade Center. Even if the movie wasn't yet out, it was no secret within New York that extensive filming for the movie had taken place at the World Trade Center, with full scale props like King Kong's hand visible in the plaza between the towers for days at a time. So it's really just "predicting" the release of a big budget movie a couple of months in the future (or, more precisely, riding the pre-release blockbuster movie publicity hype train) and not a terrorist attack a quarter century in the future.

The problem with your theory is that the King Kong movie is also a part of Hollywood production. There are countless forms of media that portray something happening to the towers. Look at the Supertramp Album Breakfast in America. Not only does the title have implications, but there is blatant symbolism on the cover. The letters in "Supertramp" if reversed in a mirror says "9 11" positioned RIGHT ON TOP OF the towers. The album composition is from the perspective of a plane window. If that isn't enough for you, the inside of the album jacket has a plane flying into the direction of tall buildings. That album came out in 79. Cope. You are in denial

When it comes to conspiracy, I get the appeal of the secrecy, the hidden in plain sight quality of a shadow society that governs us; I mean we have been making movies, novels, games about this for years, decades, centuries even. I love that stuff...as a spooky concept...not as something actually happening. But still, I get it. But most of this stuff kind of focuses on the "how" ("How would they know? Because Illuminati", "how can you predict or read it? because at 11:30 in the Dream Theater song there's a G and it's the chords that significate blablblabla") but rarely on the "why". And I find that the reasons, the motives are often non-existent or even worse than the actual supposed methods behind the conspiracy. It's either a demonstration of power (but if it is secret how are THEY demonstrating anything), a way to desensitize (yeah cause the USA took 911 pretty well when it happened thanks to that Simpsons episode), or plain and simple goofing around just for fun. Like WHY would you kill Paul McCartney and replace him with someone else?! What's the goal you are trying to achieve exactly? There are way better (and well documented) ways to assert control on a population, even global, without having to ressort to a f***ing Simpsons episode...

To be fair, animated shows have a rather long production cycle. The Simpsons, IIRC, takes about five months from script to show. South Park is a rather notable exception though, as it only takes them about a week to make an episode, somce they use such simple animations. That doesn't really matter much though. I mean, they probably just revised a bunch of storyboards and reanimated some scenes, and that in itself shouldn't take that long, maybe 2 weeks? Animators are pretty overworked anyway.
