I had a lump on my thyroid several years ago. The ultrasound showed it. When I went in to do surgery, I prayed that if I really didn't have to go through this that God would take it away. When the nurses tried to find it while prepping me for surgery, the one doing ultrasound could not find the lump. The other nurse said to her, " We never see results like this." The dr. couldn't find it either. I didn't have surgery thankfully. That's God!

The best blessing of Covid times for me has been that my husband and I have 30 minutes of Bible reading and prayer every morning. We are Catholic and a church 15 minutes from us has daily mass (which includes readings from the Old and New Testament, and one from the Gospels), a lesson, and the liturgy of the Eucharist (communion). It is so so beautiful and has changed our lives! 🙏🏻❤️ Also we get a 15minute “mini-date” each way in the car! 🚙🥰❤️

Spot on with this video ladies! We need the declutter our lives, not just of material things, but the mental as well. As one who's walked with the Lord for a number of years, let me just encourage those who still struggle with your walk with the Lord....keep pressing on. If your study time of the word is lacking, press on...find what will work in this season of your life. If one were to look as my time in the word, one could get judgmental and think "Oh my word, she's failing so miserably for someone who's been a believer for so long". But take heart, we are on a journey with Christ. This is not just a journey of one mountain to climb, but a series of mountains. This will take assessment and reassessment of what works ineach season of your life. My time with the Lord looked different as a mother of small children than it does now when they've left the nest. Also, it looks different as one who is settled in a home versus traveling or moving overseas. So keep assessing, keep pressing..keep drawing near to Christ and you will be blessed and uncluttered in your heart, mind and soul. Blessings to all of you~W💖💖

Also, something I've started this past year is to read the Bible out loud and slowly. There's something about seeing it, speaking it and hearing it that is helping it come more alive to me. It also helps with my understanding of it as well. If I come across a word I don't know, I immediately look it up in a Bible dictionary, then write it's meaning in my Bible so that the next time I come across it, I'll know its meaning. This has been so beneficial! Hope this is helpful to someone!

Love you ladies so much. ❤️ The thing that has helped me the most is the accountability of a Bible study group. I need to work on those lessons every day to be ready for the study each week. For decluttering I placed a large pretty basket that I love near my front door and put things in a black plastic bag in that basket. When the bag gets full it is time for a donation run. I like the basket because it hides the black bag yet it provides a the perfect place for those things that need to head out the door. I am at the point where it can take quite some time to fill up the bag because over the last three to four years I have decluttered my whole house. I will say this though: decluttering is a process that never ends. 🤣❤️

It’s silly, but I am hesitant to take “before” pictures going into a decluttering session because I am not confident that I will have a lot of success with every space. Thinking about it now, I just realized how silly that is because it takes no time no money and basically no effort to snap a pic or two in this digital age. And if, at the end, the “after” is blasé, it takes hardly any effort to just delete it. I have nothing to lose. And I would guess that more often then not the “after” is at least enough to see progress and feel that reward you guys are talking about. Thank you also Diana for your mention of first Timothy. It is ageless wisdom!
