About my videos: These videos are a resource for anyone wishing to wake up from the dream of separation. Awakening, enlightenment, and liberation are becoming far more mainstream possibilities than they once were. There are many good teachers out there, and if you resonate with the teachings of Eckhart Tolle, Rupert Spira, or Sadhguru, you might find resources here that address these deeper promptings to investigate your true nature.
Disclaimer: The information presented in these videos is not meant to diagnose or treat any psychiatric or medical illness. The inquiries presented herein are potent and can have powerful effects on the way you experience yourself and reality. If you feel you are at risk of harming yourself or others, these videos and practices may not be the best thing for you at the moment. Seek help wherever necessary which might include a hospital emergency department, a suicide helpline etc.

For the past days, my inquiry has been: "What's here right now?" or "What's happening right now?" And WHATEVER answer comes up is thought. It's recognised as such, regardless of the content. I'm reeeally slowing it down and becoming so curious about the texture of "what is happening". It's becoming obvious that the experience of any situation IS the experience of thought. Me, others, relationship, space, ect... It feels challenging to encapsulate it with these words. But it feels so freeing. Very hard to be triggered because the story around any potential triggered fizzles out almost instantly. It's beautiful

16:08 Is exactly how my first shift happened. Everything became flat and right next to my nose then popped back out like a cartoon. Then everything in the room was me and vice versa followed by laughing. Super cool knowing this is part of the journey.

The appearance of Distance in Consciousness is like reflections in a mirror. Touching the mirror collapses the illusion of separation. Everything is experienced "as Consciousness.”

Thank you for the pointing towards the direct experience. I like playing a little game of finding a new point of view in this direct experience - to suspend my mind's habit of blocking it. Like experiencing the force of gravity pulling my body down in a mysterious way. As if for the first time; experiencing it as if from a perspective of a spirit who suddenly won an other-wordly lottery and has been selected to live just this day as a human being. The ordinary becomes extraordinary, the senses are heightened and there is a feeling of joy for just simply being here.

Smell is a really good entry point and often overlooked. I’ve experienced the colour kaleidoscope a couple of times, once while driving and once while in a grocery store. The centre of my vision was normal. On another occasion, I experienced all the senses kaleidoscoping. But the most powerful was the zero distance I saw a couple of days ago, twice. The word you use, Angelo, is intimate. And that’s the only word that fits. ❤ 🙏

This is kinda the most relevant topic for me now, so it’s definitely helpful as I tend to distract myself a lot from it, getting lost in categories while I clearly feel I’m fed up with them and don’t see them as a point of interest anymore

Do you experience any confusion of categories? Like how should I decide to group these things into one category? What are the salient distinctions? This is getting really tricky for me.

Thank you, Angelo. For a few minutes during this video I experienced the most "connected", intimate integration with everything around me, moment of my life...at least as I recall. The primary sense focus was the inner energy sensation. That subtle buzz that I can feel in my core and limbs as a constant touch point with now. 🙏✌

This was helpful in stoping me 'trying' to see the flat intimacy of things. Mostly I've been using the fetter model which did help with the intimacy aspect but was definately 'myself trying to see'... Trusting the process in it's own time after 30 years can be challanging...Thanks as always Angelo

I guess after a shift, it's known that separation is impossible. But once all the fireworks die down, it still seems to be happening. It's very subtle. Like sensations I'm calling "my face" are somehow in front of something I am calling "me" and the world is on the other side of all of that. This "me" is some kind of reference point of attention that moves from "me" to "out there". I feel like I can see the illusion of it, but the energetics of it go on. Like all I can do is keep looking. It drops out all the time, but it's nothing I am doing to make it happen.

Just found out that THIS is what Zen is about. All this time I was thinking you‘re talking from the Advaita perspective. And yeah it‘s probably not too different but I didn‘t know they talk about the matter like this in Zen, with an explicit focus on direct experience. Sounds much better than the more woowoo-way of talking in Advaita 😂

You've been saying something about being special, and it clicked that I was making you special all this time, which is the same as saying I'm not enough. Everything's in reference to "ME"

This seemed to me for the most part clear and true, But I was a little surprised when you said that the way we construct our dualistic experience is basically necessary to navigate our way in the world. If so does not dropping that navigation put us in actual physical danger?

It's funny because with a lot of experiences, there's a natural habit (at least for me) to want to describe it in words. It's as if I'm trying to write something in my head, or preparing to write it. Perhaps it is because I'm hoping to communicate it later to someone either verbally or written, but it of course gets in the way of the actual experience. It shortens it because the mind comes in and takes control and says, "ok, that's enough, I can now convert that to words, so watch me as I do that!"

For me the deconstruction process did not work. What worked is slowing down of the mind. When I asked myself "where is that chair?" and the mind was not interested in answering the question anymore that is when intimacy was immediately experienced and the realization dawned that "here" and "there" are mental constructs. This just started happening.

The invariable mark of wisdom is to see the miraculous in the common. -Ralph Waldo Emerson A baby experiences the world with the same five senses you do. The difference is that a baby doesn’t attach words and concepts to what it experiences because it has not yet learned words and concepts. The point is to experience the world and not confuse the direct sensory experience with the words and concepts our minds attach to experience. (This is sometimes said as: don’t confuse the moon with the finger pointing at the moon.) When you see a tree, it’s easy to ignore yet another unremarkable tree because we already know all about what trees are, how they look, and how they function. What would the experience be if instead you didn’t know what a tree was and were seeing one for the first time? When you experience with a beginner’s non-conceptual mind, experience becomes incredibly more rich and vivid. It’s like being born again into a world endlessly filled with fascinating things.

thoughts being projected onto the world, a thought that covers the whole picture saying that it’s the world, there are individual objects, there is as the subject, I am in a relationship to objects, objects are in relationship to each other, this experience is of thought and isn’t embedded in the direct experience of what’s there. That’s my view.

This topic always seems to confuse me. I can see how there's no separation in direct experience...because any such separation is imagined through thought...because direct experience doesn't say anything at all. However, I can't deny that my direct experience seems to be full of variation. And thoughts seem to function as potentially useful interpretations of those variations. Clearly the word/concept, "variation," is only a thought....and this is where my confusion comes in. Is variation itself only an illusion of thought? Does non-dual realization require the absolute relaxation of attention so that perception disappears? Maybe like sleeping while remaining awake?
