Decorating a Christmas Gingerbread House! | One Pot Chef

Today I challenge myself to decorate a pre-assembled Christmas Gingerbread House - despite having absolutely ZERO decorating skills. Wackiness ensues! Happy Holidays
everyone and see you in the new year :)
Ingredients:
1 Heapful of Frustration
1 Metric Tonne of Tears and Recriminations
Gummi Bears that have stuck together
No where near enough icing for a project of this size
A sprinkle of Inappropriate references
Preparation Time: About 5 minutes
Cooking Time: Oh, this thing is cooked alright…

Its beeeeaautiful! Honestly you cant be more ambitious with a gingerbread house kit. They dont supply enough icing for you to have fun and be more creative with. I ended up making my own icing once. Its more fun when you have lots of different decorations to play around with not just the handful of decorations they give you in a kit

Don't be so hard on yourself! I've made the holiday houses for 35 years. Royal icing is needed to hold the candy to the house. Gum drops are placed on the peak of the roof and chocolate wafers for shingles. I would decorate with candy canes and M&M's. I would often fill the house w/candy before adding the roof. And you were not given enough materials in the kit. But you did a great job! Happy Holidays!!

Don't worry about it there's no write or wrong way to decorate a gingerbread house. My only suggestion is to make some of your own icing next time, those kits never give you enough.
