In the UK we have a very dry sarcastic humour. Usually reversed for banter. Where it looks like we are being an ass we are really just trying to be playful... It's a weird British thing that doesn't translate into other countries very well, but when you get it you'll understand it isnt a serious thing. Sam is so typically British it's awesome. Also he is southern British so I like him more... Sorry northerners :P

It is possible to get fabric couch covers if you want to theme up the room without buying new furniture. We used one when our old spare room couch started getting very worn out and it worked well- sometimes depending on the make of it you can just use a really massive sheet of fabric instead of something sewn to fit.
