The only thing that sticks out to me is that Don supposedly taught her how to swim, yet when she started "drowning" he reached for a stick to pull her out of His pool instead of jumping in to save her. When I was younger my sisters and I didn't know how to swim, yet when I saw my little sister drowning at a pool party while all the adults were in the house, I didn't think twice about running outside and jumping into the deep end to save her. I didn't know how to swim but didn't hesitate to try to save her life and save her, I did. This is a grown man, who claimed to have been drinking and making love to his wife prior to her starting to drown , yet he sat on the side and refused to jump in. His story doesn't add up. I am sorry she had to go like that. It's sad.

That’s actually the worst thing you could do. That often tragically ends two lives. In basic training, they knew people would panic so they only extended a long body rod to save people. Due to people would try to latch on and end up drowning them both😢 It was actually the most logical thing to do. Sounds like that person actually knew the correct way to try to save her

When the boys were young, I ran into them one summer day with Tito at Disneyland. We were in the section for the cars, and I immediately recognized the boys, with Tito watching them nearby. He looked at me and I mouthed the words, "I won't tell anyone that you're here". He nodded and said, "Thank you". I didn't see Dee Dee that day, but I imagine that was probably her day for a little R&R. So sorry for their loss of Dee Dee.💔

@@williecooper1116 Thank you. I was an avid reader of _Right On!, Jet, and Ebony_ magazines back then and they were the reason why I even recognized Tito's sons that day so long ago. Tito was a few feet away, but very low-key and unassuming as he kept a watchful eye on his boys. They were adorable and just as cute in person as they were in all the magazine photos. That said, I can't help but wish that Michael and Dee Dee were still here. Having watched _The Kennedy Center Honors_ this week, my mind went to Michael and how awesome such a tribute would've been for him on that show and all the various stars who would've been on hand to celebrate him and give him his flowers while he could enjoy them. Dee Dee should be here to enjoy her life, her children, and now grandchildren.💔

She had almost drown as a child and despite living in a house with pools, around family and others who had them she refused to for 16yrs of marriage to Tito to get in a water. She would yes lounge in her swimsuit but that was it and this man according to him had taught her and yes this is true. But her just learning she used not doing laps in the pool and why would he let her knowing they had been drinking enjoying the evening at his house,if as said he was a very good swimmer. I believe he used that pole he said he was trying to save her with to hold her under water and as she tried to keep him from doing this he was hiring her with it. She had way too many bruises, wounds on her body that made no sense someone drowning in the pool would have, she was not in a lake being tangled in branches .

@@ramonagoodman3811 no no no the thing with Natalie Wood was super super suspicious I mean Beyond suspicious . Robert Wagner would not allow the Young boat captain to call for help he wouldn't allow him to call the harbor he wouldn't allow him to call the police or any of the rescue places for about 2 hours or more probably closer to 3 from what I recall . And he was intimidated by Robert Wagner who was yelling at him . There's a lot more to the story and when her body was found the next morning and they were on the beach Robert Wagner walked right passed his wife's body and told the captain to identify the body to the police for him . Robert Wagner might not have wanted to have that as her last memory but it was terrible of him to leave that job to someone who wasn't even family . He was her husband he should have done it . I'll never believe that her death was just an accident . Her husband is old now I think he's about 92 and obviously he escaped judgment in this life but God and Karma will make sure he does not

Glad that the Jackson family loved Dee Dee and followed through with seeing the killer go to prison. She was beaten to death and thrown into the pool and it was premeditated. If someone doesn't like the water... they're not going anywhere near it. The motive was he was going bankrupt and wanted DeeDee to use her connections and she wouldn't do it.

From my understanding Bohana had enough valuable assets to cover his finances if he needed money so why would he need to murder Dee Dee for money she didn't have ties to? Tito left his family after being caught cheating by Dee Dee and Micheal supported the boys as documented by Jermaine's ex Margaret! They both were extremely drunk so I feel it was an accidental drowning especially after one of the sons stated the mother told him she was learning how to swim! Worst Dr. Posey the medical examiner wasn't qualified or competent enough to handle a high profile case explaining how bruising occurred during resuscitation while extremely intoxicated! I myself experience the incompetent diagnosis of Dr. Posey lies to cover up my son's cause of death after he told the truth at first which was already written! Dr. David Posey committed desecration of a corpse on my son and lied excessively altering body parts! So Posey changing the cause of death is very suspicious especially when another high profile Dr. Baden didn't agree with Posey's findings of homicide! I am sure because of their drunkenness he wasn't able to easily handle a person in distress while trying to resuscitate! If her liver was diseased I am sure she bruised easily! Why Dr. Posey changed his opinion to homicide after being pressured by the prosecutor and paying off his bankruptcy three years later is the Billion dollars question! I know for a fact Dr. Posey is liar when persuaded! Dr. Posey took two different sets of autopsy photos on my son! One set to tell the truth and one set to lie!

I love the story you’re spot on because I was there I went to Fairfax at the same time DeDe went there and yes Tito would come and pick her up from school and everybody crowd around. We did not hang in high school but we were connected to a friend of a friend later on in years before she passed away, I met him through my friend, I did not like him. Who knows what really happened. 🤔 My connection with the Jacksons, was that my stepdad used to play several instruments behind them back in Chicago first time was at the Capitol theater. The second time was the Regal Theatre in Chicago. Rip DeDe.

It all seemed so mysterious. This video brought the whole case to light. It filled in all the gaps. It is so well made from the narration to the pictures and video, and it was very respectful done. This is still so sad, especially seeing that her boys are still having trouble getting over it, I mean they only put out 1 album as 3T, and even though it was successful, they never did any more, not until more recently! And that was because of what happened, especially Taryll, he had a the hardest time of the 3, he couldn't even bring himself to go visit her grave after the funeral, untl in more recent years, when his brothers brought him there to help him! I believe this man did do something to her, I mean he was a lot bigger then her and I think he lied about using the pool net at first to try and get her out, I think he said that maybe to try and act like that's where her injuries came from, but what about the cut on her tongue? And even drunk I can't see why he would use something else, rather then jump in to save her! Normally that is what MOST people would do, if they know how to swim, which he did since he said he supposedly taught Dee Dee! Just the fact that he was unfriendly towards her sons, and never made an effort to get to know her family at all, sounds a bit weird, like maybe he was jealous of the Jacksons, so he recented them, not just that he didn't want to know Tito, because he was Dee Dee's ex, but more like the he didn't want anything to do with any of the Jackson family!

There a a couple of things that stick out to me... 1. According to a separate source, Don's ex-wife came on the scene and helped settle him down. At what point did he contact her? And why? 2. The 911 call. He sounded so emotionally disconnected from Dee Dee. He referred to her as "someone". "SOMEONE fell in my pool. She's drowning." He spoke about her as if she was a random person. 3. The article also quoted Don as saying that Dee Dee "was a good swimmer, capable of doing an Olympic style turn", but he, himself, "was not a strong swimmer." If that's true, how did he teach her to swim? 4. The 911 call. In the recording, he stated that Someone "fell" in his pool. How did she fall into the pool if he watched her swim "back and forth", until he noticed that she was no longer moving? 😳 Did she fall in or had she been swimming?

This was very detailed, very well researched and very thorough. Your narration and execution was exemplary. This presented more like a movie than a KZbin video. This was extremely informative and interesting. It’s just so sad and disheartening that it had to be about a beloved family’s mother, wife and daughter in law and end in tragedy. My heart goes out to 3T, Tito, Dee Dee’s family and the Jackson Family. I also commend the Jackson family on their persistence, perseverance and support in seeking justice for Dee Dee’s murder. I wondered there for a minute if Johnnie Cochran was really going to go against the Jackson family. It seemed as if Bohanan had numerous celebrity and high profile friends and that he’d get away with murder but in the end justice prevailed. Unfortunately it didn’t bring her back though. It’s the worst thing in the whole world to lose a parent; believe me I know but I’m extremely glad that he didn’t get away with it. There was obviously so many obvious but unanswered wrong doings going on and it’s a shame that many investigators are so lazy and quick to rule a murder an accident because they don’t want to do extra work but thankfully, the Jackson’s got the justice they deserved for Dee Dee’s murder.

This is so heartbreaking. A beautiful Mother gone, all because of an evil man who was trusted to love her. I'm glad he got what he deserved. Her & Tito's Son's are fine men today. Honoring their Mom's memory through the music foundation for emotional support, is wonderful. 💕‼💯

Beyond the Fame , you did such a wonderful and balanced documentary here on this controversial topic . I like the way your voice was respectful and free of hype . You also chose lovely music that was appropriate for the topic and the content . I will be definitely checking out the rest of your channel and I think I remember I saw one of your vids maybe last year ... and I really enjoyed it ... I don't know how I was not subscribed , but I am now . ( one quick thing names like that sometimes are pronounced like brown since it's a German name other times it's anglicized to sound like brawn . )

The bruises alone told the story. Even though she may have learned to swim does not indicate that she's a good swimmer. I'm sure she still had reluctance towards water. Therefore I don't believe she voluntarily entered especially while drinking. He may have pushed her in after the beating. There are different types of drunks in the world. You have happy drunks, sad drunks, indifferent drunks and mean drunks. This guy was a mean drunk and commenced to killing this woman! Rest in peace Ms Dee Dee.
