Now that you finally began BBS I have an interesting detail to point out! Did you realise that the part where Ventus fell asleep and was awakened by Aqua, was a recreation of the beginning of KH1? Sora was sleeping at the beach and awakend by Kairi. Ventus and Sora even say the same words: „Gimme a break, Kairi/Aqua“. Another similarity is in the names of both trios characters. Sora means sky in japanese while Ventus means wind in latin, Kairi means sea in japanese while Aqua means water in latin and Riku means land in japanese while Terra means earth in latin. P.S. Wow I have never been this early in a video😁

Yes, but minor correction. Kairi's name is something of a pun. The Japanese word for "Sea" is actually "Kai", but Nomura reasonably thought it sounded too much like a boy's name. "Kairi" is actually the Japanese word for "Separation" or "Severance", which is very fitting considering the juxtaposition that Sora spent KH1 apart from Kairi even though her heart was with Sora.

Without spoiling the story, I think it makes the most sense to do each character route in the order it lists when you get to choose (Terra > Ventus > Aqua, in other words the order Dee Bee said he would go with). Their stories are happening at the same time and it's not the biggest deal if it's done in other orders since each fill in the gaps, but Terra's route does set up most important context, Ventus's route fills in a good amount as the middle part, and Aqua's route more or less wraps things up.

Some advice: 1) Meld commands and level them to learn new skills, which is the only way to get skills like Second Chance or Leaf Bracer or Treasure Magnet or the like. 2) Check your finish commands. The better ones require you to do certain things to level up the other Finish commands to lead up to the strongest options. 3) When using Shotlock, keep holding till you get Max Lock-On, and using the attack provides invulnerability windows. 4) D-Links can evolve, but must be used often enough to acquire rare droppable items to do so. And using them has the bonus of fully healing the user in the process. 5) Mirage Arena has new stuff unlock as you go, but it's a massive side quest collection. To save time, you may want to play the Command Board there, instead of from the save menu, to help with some of the side questing there. Also, most of the game's superbosses can be found there. 6) Command Board randomly includes commands that can only be acquired from the Command Board, so when you try it, keep a close eye out for commands that you haven't heard of that you can gain from it. 7) Though you finished a lot of the worlds, all of them have additional content when you revisit, with Disney Town having the most options by far in that regard.

As I recall, the unique command board rewards do not appear in Mirage Arena. You can only get them by playing the boards through the pause menu. Which is an unnecessary hassle if you ask me.

Someone should probably tell him that in Birth By Sleep, there's a bit of a "difficulty curve" between the three characters. With Terra being Easy, Ventus being Normal, and Aqua being Hard. Of course this might differ to specific players, which fun fact the three characters also represent the three classic RPG archetypes; Warrior, Rogue, and Mage.

@@TrippleBPlays Yeah the reason may be determined on your gameplay. Like I believe it's pretty standard for people who plays RPGs have a more challenging time playing their exact opposites. Like mage players would of course have an easier time with Aqua because they know how to manage their magical attacks and avoid overall damage instead of just taking the brunt damage overall and hitting hard like with Terra who has the highest HP and Strength of the trio, with Aqua having the highest MP and more than likely AP, and Ventus having the highest DEF but with balanced stats compared to the other two.

Luxu dude. We get teasers here :3 everyone had theories back in the day and its been a question till kh3.... heck i dont think i ever saw a vid that got it right. I felt this game was complex, even if not unsolvable. DDD kinda spoon fed u lore while saying cryptic things. Leveling up and melding commands is crucial to progression. It's how you get abilities and more powerful commands. There are also multiple things to look over in the pause menu like finish commands and D-Links. Those stickers require attention to where you place them. The journal will be helpful for numerous reasons.

They are all voiced by Susanne Blakeslee, who is probably best known for voicing Wanda in Fairly Odd Parents. It makes sense to have Maleficent and Tremaine sound alike since they were both originally voiced by Elanor Audley. As for the Evil Queen, I guess they just couldn't think of anyone else.

The stickers you place and collect are the key to the bonus ending for this game. Much easier in proud mode if anything. Some may be too far out of reach but if you continue to gain new abilities it will be much easier

Am I the only one who noticed that except for the tutorial he never used his shotlocks. Also dee, I can't to see your next video but try the mirage arena when you get a chance. P.S. choosing terra and playing critical mode I can't tell if you are very brave or really stupid because If you thought the early game was hard just wait until end game. Big fan and can't wait for next video

Dude, I’d recommend using your shot lock more often. It makes everything so much easier. Especially in boss fights. You have to hold down the trigger while aiming to build up the attack to max. Sorry for backseat gaming, I just thought that would help ya out.

Terra fits the role of the huntsman quite well. I love how with both him and Riku, you can't help but have a level of exasperation at their choices. I do love how excited you get at every moment.

When I first played this game I played it with my sister and then boyfriend, he played aqua's story, my sister played Ven's story and I played Terra of course, I gotta say even after playing the other stories later on, I have a certain soft spot for Terra, I love him so much and I was so excited watching on stream when you said you'd play him first, my boy doesn't get as much love as he should in my opinion, so thanks DeeBee ~
