The thing is: the game makes it sound like this was the final test of her trial but resorts to Link's memory of his battle against the blight ganon. Not sure if it's just lost in translation or neither made more sense in the original language... but since I came here from a KH video and remembering playing through all those games I am not sure if japanese storywriters care about "making sense" at all.

Revali's cutscene in the Champion's Ballad is what made me love his character. He is probably the most flawed champion. He has no special innate power that was passed down through the generations. He created Revali's gale himself. And that cutscene is when he finally mastered it. He pushes himself to his absolute limit to do what he does. He may be rude and have a massive ego, but there's a lot of emotion hidden deep within him. That cutscene is so well done. The music, the explosions, everything... gives me chills every time I see it.

31:42 I think height is in reference to his new found status as a knight. So some people have theorized that Link went through training so rigorous and stressful, that he needed a way to cope with the stress. His silence is his way of coping. Side theory, I wonder if Mipha told Sidon enough about Link as a kid to where, since Sidon probably saw that Mipha talking about Link made her happy, Sidon mimicked child link's actions to make Mipha happy more often. So in a way, I think Sidon represents a Link who never went through the stress of becoming the princess's knight.

Nor can the type of ice crystals you find in the Hebras or Gerudo Highlands. Outside of tje DLC, there's also diaries of Zelda and the king in the castle... well actually, Zelda has 2 diaries. The king's one is tricky to find, but both Zelda's are pretty close to each other

It's only after that memory that you see why Revali is acting the way he is. He is strong and skilled as he says he is.

I feel like you haven’t gone to the Gerudo Highlands yet (on KZbin). There are many things I’d like to see you do relating to Gerudo and the Northwest

It will be interesting to see you do the rest of the Champians Ballad and Ganon all in one stream. My favorite parts of the Ballad is the diary entries that give more insight into the champians

Well, now that you're done with Waterblight: you can stasis smack his ice back at him to stun him, as well as use cryonis to shatter them. You can also parry his spear when he throws it, sending it back at him

Actually, the four shrines of the Champions' Ballad on the Great Plateau count towards the total shrines count, since they give you spirit orbs as well. There are 120 in the base game and 4 extra in the DLC. So there are 13 more shrines to go.

A lot of people are mentioning Zelda's diary. Don't forget to check out the king's diary in the library, behind one of the metal (i.e. “magnesis-able”) bookshelves.

With the champ ballad, there are 124 shrines. The 4 new shrines on the Plateau are extra ones that give you another heart container
