Question: I hardly ever see detailers cleaning seatbelts and I need a solution to how to get clean discolored gray seatbelts. If they were black, no problem. Can you show us sometime how you clean grubby light-colored seatbelts? Is getting stains out of seatbelt material harder than carpet material or seat material? Am I doomed to have discolored seatbelts on my (otherwise ) nice old Buick interior? Love your videos, BTW

I think he showed once that he used the steam brush. Not too sure which spray he used. Check out his website and it might explain or show it.
@Zalagar619
@Zalagar619 3 жыл бұрын
It's relatively easy. Spray them with APC, Then I usually agitate them with easier a drill brush or boars hair detail brush, The drill brush works much better, but then I hit them with my steamer and you can see all the nasty black stains and gunk shoot out. I usually use like vice grips or something to hold the seat belt exetended out.
@Zalagar619
@Zalagar619 3 жыл бұрын
My interior and seat belts are Gray as well. I've also even seen people do what I said before, but if they don't have a steamer, they extended them and lay them on the exterior door and pressure wash them also. Just make sure to use a 40° tip, not something that will hurt the paint or the fabric.

@@m_l_ek3857 Hey, I'd recommend wearing a simple pair of Nitrile Disposable Gloves, it honestly doesn't burn unless you're holding a piece and focusing an area by the hand. In most cases any loose parts you just hold on one side and steam the other. Many people also use them for cleaning and sanitizing their houses.

Dirt plus accessibility determines it really. There’s some vehicles that he’s removed the whole center console in too. But I’m sure it’s also determined by which detail package the owner selects when agreeing to the charges. These cleanings are not cheap, as many of these take 15-20 hours of labor time, plus the cost of materials.

That trucks wins the most air fresheners award from a mirror. It’s the 8th wonder of the world on how that mirror is still there from the sheer weight.

I got into detailing by getting a job at my local ziebart back in January, The management was terrible there, I'm now detailing for this guy who only started his detailing business 2 years ago, it's nice because I'm basically my own boss there, and it's self serving, plus it's piecework so I can do it on my own time. I'm starting a pressure washing business with my brother, but I'm leaning more into the interest of a whole detailing business now. I enjoy doing it and I know all there really is to know and I'm only just turning 20 :)

It looks just as nice as the last time you worked your magic on it. I would think that repeat business is very satisfying for you, it’s real proof that the customer appreciates the job you do. Thanks for another great start to the weekend!

You should do a half detail soon. Just down the middle of the vehicle to see a clear before and after. Also should try and detail Mav’s truck. He has a KZbin channel where he drives all over and stays in his truck. Lots of cool compartments and different fun things that would be entertaining watch be cleaned.

Yay I love it when you show the before and after at the end. It’s a reminder of how dirty it was to start with and how clean it is now.
