Question: I hardly ever see detailers cleaning seatbelts and I need a solution to how to get clean discolored gray seatbelts. If they were black, no problem. Can you show us sometime how you clean grubby light-colored seatbelts? Is getting stains out of seatbelt material harder than carpet material or seat material? Am I doomed to have discolored seatbelts on my (otherwise ) nice old Buick interior? Love your videos, BTW

I think he showed once that he used the steam brush. Not too sure which spray he used. Check out his website and it might explain or show it.
@Zalagar6193 жыл бұрын
It's relatively easy. Spray them with APC, Then I usually agitate them with easier a drill brush or boars hair detail brush, The drill brush works much better, but then I hit them with my steamer and you can see all the nasty black stains and gunk shoot out. I usually use like vice grips or something to hold the seat belt exetended out.
@Zalagar6193 жыл бұрын
My interior and seat belts are Gray as well. I've also even seen people do what I said before, but if they don't have a steamer, they extended them and lay them on the exterior door and pressure wash them also. Just make sure to use a 40° tip, not something that will hurt the paint or the fabric.

@@m_l_ek3857 Hey, I'd recommend wearing a simple pair of Nitrile Disposable Gloves, it honestly doesn't burn unless you're holding a piece and focusing an area by the hand. He’s said it in other videos but sometimes the seats move forward and back enough that he can access the whole area and also it’s not dirty enough to pull them out, and when he takes them out it’s because it’s the opposite 🙂
@SandrA-hr5zk3 жыл бұрын
Dirt plus accessibility determines it really. There’s some vehicles that he’s removed the whole center console in too. But I’m sure it’s also determined by which detail package the owner selects when agreeing to the charges. These cleanings are not cheap, as many of these take 15-20 hours of labor time, plus the cost of materials.
