I love you guys and Deep Purple so damn much. No matter what lineup/mark, I love you guys. 50 years and counting producing some of the worlds greatest music that has influenced and touched hundreds of millions over those years, it’s truly a special thing. You’re the last of the unholy trinity of you, Zep, and Black Sabbath still around as a band. So again, just thank you for continuing what you love to do. I can’t wait for the new album, be safe, and stay healthy and rocking!

Yes fantastic player but his guitar sounds almost too melodic and same sounding a lot of the time. I miss the sound of the strat and those crunchy riffs.

I'd say infinite and Woosh are good some great songwriting, especially Gillan, but Morse is actually nothing special, just a lame shadow of the Morse from Dixie dregs. Blackmore is done for, will die playing acoustic Christmas covers after that Lorelei fiasco with the pathetic "rainbow tribute bar band"

I listened deep purple for first time when I was a child, I was 4 years, my father had the machine head and burn albums (vinyls) and he played these albums many times. At my short age I was in love of that amazing power sound. Now im 33 and I told my father thank you because I listen classic rock for him. My father has cancer, and we both together still listen deep purple and many others classic rock bands while he is resting in bed while Im supporting him with this hard situation. Thank you Deep Purple for giving us amazing songs we enjoy alot.

As I have read your posting not only "Woosh" get's me through but also your writting about your feelings in music and your father's health. In music Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden .... have lead me more than 40 Years now to my life. I listen to their music when I was happy and also when I was sad, their music give me power and strength. My father passed away in 2017 by cancer of the lungs. I was a precocious 11 year old when Perfect Strangers came out and I recognized how incredibly improbable it was for a rock band I loved to reunite and produce such miraculous music. I took it as a once in a career happening. Now, I'm a 40-something listening to this and I honestly can't believe what I'm hearing. Deep Purple uber alles! I wonder who's producing this, but I also know it doesn't really matter much because the bottom line is Deep Purple lives on in fully vibrant colour! Bravo!

Wow! This is fantastic. Still rock music but with the right blend of symphonic maturity. Ian Gillan is amazing. The whole band is amazing, but Gillan being the singer, has to make his music with a 70+ year old throat and lungs. Simply amazing he still sings, let alone at this level.

Can we all talk about how gourgeously structured this song is? I mean, sure DP has got a plenty of conceptual and even more sophisticated material in their catalogue. But amongst the relatively latest records produced under the supervision of Bob Ezrin this song is hands down most impressive and compelling. It's like a splendid fusion of Floydian space-like ambience and Purple's signature sound. Just captivating.

In 2001 Deep Purple came to my little town, Drøbak, in Norway. An outdoor consert in Badeparken here. What a GREAT show. I was flabbergasted by the intensity of what DP gave to us. They gave me multiple eargasms too as well. Thank you, Deep Purple.

Most people stopped talking about Ritchie Blackmore about 27 years ago, Deep Purple on the other hand have released 7 epic albums since then, the last 3 have all sold incredibly well, this current (2002 - 2020) line up of DP is actually the second most successful line up of this iconic band after the "classic" M2 line up and for alot of younger fans Steve Morse is the only DP guitarist they've ever known 🙂

I always loved them from the first time I heard DP in rock and have every vinyl album, my brother took me to see them at the Glasgow Apollo ( Green's Playhouse as it was then) when Fireball came out in 1971 and again for Machine Head in 1972, I will be 67 this year and can remember them well, this is simply stunning video for it, sure makes me feel old though...

I grew up with Deep Purple being my favorite band. Ritchie Blackmore was a huge influence on my guitar playing. Steve Morse is a beast on guitar. Saw him twice with Dixie Dregs and he was amazing. I can hear his influence on the band in this song. So looking forward to the new album.

It's 52 years since HUSH was released. 3 original members, That's impressive. Jon Lord would've been there if he hadn't passed away. Steve Morse has been on Guitar for a long time I found myself nodding my head to this tune. There are hints of Prog Rock and a touch of War of the Worlds with the spoken word.

I feel like since the 2010's these guys have reached a new creative peak... It's remarkable that at this point in Deep Purple's career they are releasing such inspired music. Let's keep it coming!

It's amazing to realize the MkVIII lineup has been together consecutively longer than any other Purple lineup... and it shows! DP sound more comfortable, confident, and adventurous than ever.

My second comment. I have listened to this track and "Throw my bones" multible times and it only gets better each time. Amazing composition for guys who are still rocking in their 70s. From the 1960s, Deep Purple lives on into 2020. That's powerful.

Musicians must move with time,otherwise you will be left behind,name one heavy rock band that has been as busy and still around as DEEP PURPLE? The musicianship is next to no other,most of them are in their 70"s and they can still kick arse.complex music written and made easy and Ian is a master of lyrics. Thank you Deep purple for making me the musician I am today.

@@rost72zh As a musician you have to be diverse otherwise you are not a musician.I actually love the song although is different ,yet it is still the one and only Deep Purple sound..No one sounds like them or visa versa.I am sure the album will have something you like,be optimistic my friend..have a great rocking life..
