Deep Water Has Shut Me Down

The rainy season from hell continues now that I am back from Arizona. I can't work on any of the projects I wanted to get started on once I got back. Everything is on hold for a while until it quits raining and the water recedes. Be patient. Things will dry out eventually and the precious metals recovery will resume. Thanks.

I guess you'll just get to it once you can get to it😅. Hopefully the weather improves and cooperates with you! Until then, stay safe and dry.

The problem is the water table comes to the surface. The water can’t soak in. And neighbors around have filled in ponds. The water has no where to go. There is a ditch out front but the city in their infinite wisdom installed a sidewalk in front of the ditch. So the water can’t even run towards the ditch. We have put some pipes under the sidewalk to help drain, but it’s not enough. It’s been really wet this summer.

I do not understand why you of all people have not sorted this recurring problem out. Why is the water collecting in that spot. Where to drain the water to when I stick a flood drain right in the centre of that bad boy. Next project brother what a series that will be. Stay safe brother

@@empirefinds It's not just that spot around my lab. It's the whole yard, in fact the whole neighborhood. Too much development around us and too much runoff. The drainage ditches are full. There's nowhere to drain the water to.about every second or third year it gets this bad during the rainy season, or if there's a hurricane. This year has been an especially wet rainy season plus we had a hurricane.

@@omegageek64 you could simply dig a hole for a large pond. Use the earth from the hole to raise your yard by a few feet and the run of will fill the pond eventually boat fishing rod a beer.
