I think Natasha's lack of oversexualising content is one of the reasons I was really drawn to the videos. She made me feel good about myself, giving me great information without subconsciously comparing myself to her.
@Aha.SoWhat2 жыл бұрын
Super interesting point. I never thought about it but your are totally right! Although she is super sexy she doesn´t play with it on camera. That combined with her heartwarming character makes me feel super comfortable. She gives me the feeling that I can reach my personal goals, too, with selflove, exercises and science :D. Edit: Ah, ok, she talks about that in the interview XD. Nevertheless, your are right, I feel the same :).

You're so right with this! I remember YT started recommending me her channel and I was like nah, the typical blonde fitness influencer... no thank you! (so judgmental of me I know) But after a Greg Doucette review of her videos I saw her content was really science based and informative. I gave her content a chance and I'm SO GRATEFUL I did that because she's a bad ass! She showed me how strong, mentally and physically, a woman can be. No doubt she's a huge inspiration to me. I like she never uses sexualized thumbnails or uses her body to give a sexualized content. Such a respectable and admirable person!
@cannedsalsa22 жыл бұрын
İ share this opinion. She is by far my fave fitness youtuber because she is not physique focused. İt’s not a constant discussion of her weight and looks, which is a relief.
@Amda4436 Жыл бұрын
I feel the same! She does not thumbnail her ass like others do so obviously but pretend it's just about gaining confidence and strength lol. Also her way of speaking to the camera is so natural and not this sassy/sexy weird talk.

Natacha's goal as she mentioned in this podcast, is "helping people", not showing off like most of other "influencers". Also, she runs two other businesses, so she really doesn't need to show "more skin" for her to be successful!!

Natacha Oceane was (fortunately) my gateway to fitness and pushed me to start my own fitness journey. She's an incredibly warm person with very sound solid content and a super INSANE athlete. She hit the nail on the head by creating videos that are relevant, evidence-backed, and bound to be timeless. She's in it for the long game and we see that! 💖

When natacha says she wants to create contents that make people happy she is really achieving her goal, whenever I see a new video of her I drop everything I do cause she makes me feel so calm, it's one of the few content creators who really manages to relax me and to turn a bad day into a positive one. She's such a rare gem! Plus I've bought her guide (build) and oh lord, I've never had such a great time at the gym, every workout session is so fun and refreshing and challenging and it makes you look forward to the next one, I am always so excited to go back the next day, it makes you feel strong and confident and it's amazing, really really highly suggest it!!

I'm so happy to have this chance to see Natacha in a different format. Every since I've started watching her, she's been challenging me not to do better, but to let go. I often feel competitive and like I'm behind in life compared to others; after watching one of her videos, sometimes I have to tell myself: it's okay if you haven't done a marathon, it's okay if you don't know how to professionally edit videos, it's okay if you don't k ow how to use a sewing machine - lol I don't need to learn it all, because we don't live long enough to spend our life chasing.

I love how transparent and honest she is saying even the phrase 'the journey is the fun part' can actually be shit sometimes. It's more about the fact that there are both bad and good times, but you have to celebrate the wins and earn from the losses.

I’ve loved Natacha, she’s naturally hilarious and has inspired me for years and have loved seeing her in a different setting but my god, need better responses than “ok” every time from the interviewer. Drove me mad the whole way through.

I was gonna say I love Natacha as well. But this is hardly a deep dive. We all know this information about her or can learn it from one of her videos. This video doesn't show is anything new. I've delved in this channel a bit as well and there are some good videos but I don't think this deep dive thing is it, personally.

Thanks so much for doing this interview with Natacha. I don't often comment on here but watch both you and her on here on the regular. I finished my PhD in 2020. When she said if you had asked her how she was doing when she was UG she would've started crying. Just hearing that made me cry, that was so relatable. I am also from a "non academic" background and felt such HUGE pressure to succeed that I would never step back and think about whether it was good for me. I just wanted to show I could do it, and a lot of it was about pleasing others. Natacha has so much insight, she is really inspirational and I loved hearing from her. I really enjoyed this interview. Thank you. I am in a MUCH better place and luckily I did really benefit from doing my PhD and I am in a job I love now which I couldn't have without a PhD.

As a biophysics PhD dropout myself I have to say that it is absolutely incorrect that most people just finish their PhD degree once they start. The statistic for dropping out of a PhD program is something like ~50%. Don’t let the misconception of everyone finishing their PhD keep you there or make you feel like a failure for leaving because it’s simply not true!

Yes, journey matters more than the destination. If you have a big goal and all you care about is the destination, you miss things in your peripheral vision and who knows those things might take you to a even more beautiful destination So one should always have short goals and keep their eyes open for all opportunities that may present themselves while enjoying the journey. And lastly if you die tomorrow but your destination needs 5 more years, you never really enjoyed. JOURNEY before destination

Natacha, I love what you said about not over sexualising yourself. Of course women should feel comfortable showing their bodies but this is something I really appreciate about you. I never feel drained watching your videos as your goal is always to help others rather than throwing yourself out as eye-candy and regurgitating unhealthy behaviours.
