Exciting day out in the bush Doc. Good job restraining yourself that is hard to do. Is this your new property?

No, but new property with permission ;-) We just closed today on our land. God bless.

I enjoy the days like this almost as much as the days when I get one! One of my most fun days was seeing so many “small” bucks that I lost count. The big ones come though! Keep having fun!

WOW! How very exciting Doctor! The Turkey made some great B Roll video, and you had lots of excitement for sure. Didn't really look like you had a shot window on the buck, but for just a second or two, and I'm not sure a grunt would have stopped him long enough. Great overall video too with the Tactacam! You'll get one for sure soon!

Thanks Ron, if I don't get one tomorrow it's gonna be a muzzle loader season on Saturday.

Enjoy your vids. Looks like your safety was off every time you panned past the xbow. Probably smart to keep it on safe until ready to pull the trigger. Simply for safety reasons.

Yes I agree, my bad.

I think I should give you me excuse. With my previous Xbow if I pulled trigger with safety on it I couldn't release the safety unless I forcefully pushed the trigger forward and it took me awhile to figure this out (this happen on my hunt and she was lucky doe). Ever since then when I'm ready to hunt I just leave the safety off, but again you are right safety is always first.
