Was there for 2 of the 3 nights. Everything was choreographed down to every word that was said by Joe…was just a machine.

This shows how professional Def Leppard are, and Steve Clark himself without a doubt, his strap breaks, he knocks over a mic stand but doesn't even miss a beat, gets handed another guitar and carries on like nothing happened. Brilliant band, brilliant musicians, absolute professionals and wonderful music.

Man those roadies were right there on top of it, true heroes during concerts to be able to smoothly hand Steve a guitar ready to go and the other guy quickly got the mic stand fixed. Real team work!

This was the first concert I ever went to!! I was 11 years old hanging out with my dad and when that curtain dropped, I remember getting chills and smiling ear to ear.

Oh how I wish I could have seen this concert.. to see Def Leppard at their absolute peek with Steve Clark. Dang. I was too young and there was no way my parents would have taken me anyway. I do remember kids talking about the concert at school. I've been able to see them in concert a couple of times in the mid 2000s and the shows were fantastic but there is just something special about this In The Round tour that will never be replicated esp with Steve gone. Glad they were able to stick together and weather the changing music scene and still be out there rocking. A very special group and it's been an absolute privilege to have grown up with them and to have been a fan the whole time.

OMG I still get chills seeing this! I saw them twice in September of 1988. I had seen concerts before them and so many after them. And nobody ever came close to this. The idea of the stage being in the middle was brilliant! An idea they got from Neil Diamond but no rock/metal bands had ever done it. Every seat in the house was awesome. The laser show made every seat good.

That’s one of the tours I wish I had seen and of course pyromania. Glad I got to see so many great bands in the 80s. But this gives the new generation how great concerts were back then and how electric the crowds were. It’s amazing how the bands and the crowd feeds off each other. This is awesome footage and at the same time sad that Steves not with us anymore. He had everything he could have asked for. God bless him. Def Lepp will always be my favorite band. Hands down. ❤❤❤❤

REALLY regretting not seeing them then. I never saw them at their peak, and seeing them, esp. without Steve, would be so anticlimactic.

Once a good live band, now just a bunch of old blokes standing still playing the same songs forty years later. Clark was the absolute heart of this band.

I'm not going to lie. I'm 44 on one hand I'm starting to feel it on the other hand I wanna bounce around and sing like these phuckers in their prime when I get a drop in me. The fact of the matter is we all slow down. I know that can't be 1988 again. But they still maintain their musical integrity for their age I will say. I don't GAF how old they are I want to see them do a real throwback to 1988 in concert. I don't care if their older and droopy and slower. If you are going to bring back the 80s in full force this is the representation we deserve.
