He was on trial for an alleged abusive situation, that stemmed from him being caught cheating, causing a dispute and confrontation between himself and one of his girlfriends. At this time, he had three “long term relationships” all at the same time. During the trial, he was messaging one of the victims on Instagram, as well as scolding them, saying disrespectful things about them on record, and testified using rhetoric that blamed the victims while making himself and his infidelity appear as though it were necessary. He was found guilt by a jury, convicted, and part of his probation was a rule that he was to be nowhere near the victim, seen in the video, Ms. Mills. He violated that term several times while he was “working.” He’s a disgusting man, and if he wants a chance to prove himself to be an “admirable man,” then perhaps he should remind himself of every chance he had before, during, and even after the trial.

These are mostly misdemeanor cases with max sentence of 93 days. So, if he wants to do something bad, he'll do it 80 days later. That way, they can at least track his movements. Unless he commits a more serious crime to hold him longer, it's the only choice.

I had a client pass out on me. Twice. The first time was in the parking lot of my office before trial, and the second was after the verdict when the court announced his sentence. I honestly think about this case nearly every day and it's been nearly 2 years ago. It was easily the most frustrating case I ever had and is a decent chunk of the reason why I left private practice. The rest of it was that people, clients in particular, are assholes, but that's another story for another day.

I guess they didn't teach this lawyer grammar when he went to college and law school? (Or even in elementary school or in high school?) Not a good first impression, "Mr. Esquire". Mr. Jones is a "great father" according to his attorney, and apparently a lousy partner, and "he has very little credibilty", but Judge Simpson should give him a break. Why?
