The guy is not the lawyer for the shooter or his father. He is the lawyer for the third member in the black truck that is being tried as an accomplice. I think he's trying to be as difficult as possible from the beginning. He wanted his client to be given immunity and have charges dropped in order for him to take the stand and offer testimony against the other two. The problem is that he doesn't really have much to offer with testimony that the video hasn't been able to show.

Fun fact: Arbery had every right to try and defend himself from two men with guns. The only person who's life was in danger, was Arbery's. Arbery posed no threat to them. Instead, it was the other way around. The same way Trayvon Martin had the right to defend himself from a grown man who was stalking him with a gun. Trayvon posed no threat to George Zimmerman that night, it was the other way around.

I have come to a conclusion based on reading some of the comments regarding cases like these when the victim is black, particularly this case and how they DESPERATELY need to crimalized black victims like Ahmaud Arbery, and never address the real abominable crimes the white person committed against a black person.
