Ik I’m late but I use slow and steady, and if I were to say why I use it, it’s not because of damage reduction, it’s because of the fact that headshots do not kill you. Specially useful since most players use PIB and it forces them to paint your head at least twice(more times if you got tonics). I know it doesn’t seem like much but it really is a massive advantage since you break the cycle of players that are only good at aim - flick up - paint - kill. Also SNS is good against slippery, it allows you to stand there in close range, and blast them with semi auto shotgun. I just think that SNS is the most versatile deadeye card, but only if you’re comfortable at hitting your shots without relying on the perfect accuracy of PIB. My build is: SnS, Gunsligers choice, winning streak, and Fool me once. Give it a try, I find it very good for most situations. The guns I use are Navy revolvers, for the accuracy and range allows me to not carry a repeater or bolt action. The Carcano for anything that navy’s can’t hit, and semi auto shotgun for anything super close range.

Very good and informative rdo videos! keep up the good work! : ) i have one,two questions: Bolt Action Rifle vs Springfield... after using both for a while, i really prefer the Springfield as long range lock on rifle. I have the feeling, that BAR is more like a good mid+long range hybrid, but it's not amazing on any specific range. So it's more like a backup weapon, if you want to equip a shotgun or sniper, to still have the mid/long range option. would you agree or where do you see the BARs place? Or do you even prefer it over the Springfield? In most of your videos you either snipe, or use Springfield rifle.

I used to like bolt rifle a lot, but after some tests I switched to Springfield. In my opinion bar is a poor choice for every range/situation

If you have damage cards stacked like PC+WS, Bolt becomes a 2 shot within auto aim range (express rounds). The problem with the bolt is that it becomes a pea shooter outside auto-aim range. It can be very effective for SnS users even more than the Springfield as SnS is great for auto aim range. The Springfield does its wonders with PIB and it’s damage does not drop even at max range. I have both guns and switch between PIB + Springfield & Bolt + SnS. Always have PC+WS.

@@AlanDantes76 I do. But for some reason I'm still able to be shot at and killed. I was in my camp the other day,I was in defensive mode with the flag raised and these two were able to come into my camp and kill me at close range. Defensive mode imo is virtually useless. And furthermore, when I am in defensive mode and am being shot at, I'm unable to shoot back. When I try to defend myself, it doesn't allow me to aim at the other player. They take no damage. So, I'm now having to "git gud" (I hate that phrase lol) and learn to defend myself. Sorry this was such a long reply. I just wanted to clearly answer your question. 😊

Anytime I wanna get into a good gunfight with another player and I see they're hunting or fishing or doing missions I'll always leave them alone. But if your cruising around town doing nothing thats who I'll usually start up a gunfight with. I've been on the other end of the type of griefing you are describing. It sucks

Could you test that one green card that says abilities that restore deadeye are buffed and you do less damage. I have it at level three and it apparently doesn't even work. I tried cigs cigars alcohol eye for eye and no change noticed. It may fortify snake oil however

The king 101 I know this reply is late but I’d suggest using slippery bastard with shotgun (shells) or (incendiary)...... mix slippery with ‘to fight another day’ , ‘never without one’ and ‘the short game’

If you get shot in an area covered by hat it protects you, if you get shot in area not covered by hat (e.g. face or neck) then no protection.

I switched out S&S for other dead eye cards but now I'm usinv it again especially since Gunslinger's just came out for Xbox. S&S, Peak Cond, Gunslinger, Fool me and dual semi-auto pistols! That's a tank that shoots back😉✌

So buttomline if you dont spend hours crafting tonics or if you dont money glitch in order to buy as much as you want as do all the high lvl players you basically have no chance to compete. Good job rockstar, professional editor of creating unbalanced games, lol. Plus they have nerfed all ability cards accuracy last february updates except the Picasso's lovers card named Paint it black, equivalent of the mk2 opressor of gta, you paint the screen, make crosses and the game does the killing for you, lol. This is ambarassimg for an old west game

Any tonic with the word special. Spec miracle, spec snake oil, spec health and spec bitters. You can't buy them you have to craft them.
