Definitely learning from you guys, that self introspection personally is the difference between taking offense and maybe taking accountability. And I’ve seen in my relationship how taking things that are addressed personally will stand in the way of addressing someone else’s hurt or the issue because you take offense. But it’s so hard to have that type of accountability all the time 😭.

I learnt that breakups don't have to be nasty. Two mature adults can part, and still be kind to each other. These two ladies spoke of their exes in a respectful manner. They took accountability for their own shortcomings and it's beautiful to watch. I also learnt that there's nothing to be shy about if it hurts if hurts. You just need to be kind to yourself and be patient with your healing.

That breakups don’t just happen because of one ‘event’, it’s always a build up, and it’s never just from one side, we all need to learn to take accountability for our own actions that may have contributed to the breakup in a way(except cheating though😩, but that’s another topic), thank you for this, for showing reality, and that some things end and it’s okay 🥹

Honestly, out of all the things that terrify me, a partner who lacks the capacity and or willingness to self reflect has to be at the tippy top. if you are not brave enough to move away from your current identity, to move into the unknown, to take steps towards self repair, you're going to remain in a "woe is me" complex forever. Being upset with your actions is not enough. Self pity is not enough...
@nompilosibiya8373 Жыл бұрын
I think that's what I'm seeing maybe in my relationship. I wonder if my partner reflects as much as I do. Infact some body else asked me this when I was telling them about my relationship and I feel like it's starting to be clear to me only now. Not really sure how to deal with it

What i took from this is that, Self introspection is an important element in and out of a relationship. It makes or breaks a beautiful thing. Also that Acknowledging how and where you were wrong and working on it is extremely important. I think they both said that you can love a person soo much but things still won't work out. It isn't just love that makes a relationship but so many other factors that we sometimes aren't aware of. I loved this episode. Can't wait for the next❤

I feel like healing is a world of its own. So much discoveries within oneself, so much learning and unlearning. It comes to a point where you'd feel uncomfortable in addressing certain issues within yourself because of something you saw/heard and you're just in disbelief that ' sometimes even yourself can be the cause of the problem ', now you must find the root of the problem. Sometimes you're easily triggered and when you're ' triggered ' by something, that's when you know that particular part of you hasn't healed. Argh man, take it easy on yourselves. I feel like healing is also a platform to see how much you love yourself, learn who you are and just soak in the love you gave/give to people to yourself. You can never pour from an empty cup. Lastly, healing is a journey, Embrace it. Live through it and beyond it.

I learned that vulnerability and words of affirmation are important in a relationship. Also what I see is that we should really work on holding the ones we care about tightly because you don't know if you'll ever find someone as good again. Seasons won't always be sunny and no-one is perfect but the willingness of someone to love you so passionately is worth it.
