Judging a bands overall sound by a festival set recorded over a phone is a really bad idea. Most of the big sound you hear live doesn't translate well to a phone mic. Can't handle the SPL's nor really tune in to the frequencies. I saw them live in 2016 on tour. They were phenomenal and sounded amazing in person. The band has always moved the tempo of tunes up and down live throughout the years. One of the great things about going to see a great band live.

Great vid. Merci! Weak crowd though. Everybody in the back must've been there for the next set. All the people up front were having a great time. Deftones been killing it since before the numetal craze of the early 2000s. 20+ years and despite their own tragedy and loss they're still headlining small venues and playing festivals.

The thing I've come to notice with Deftones is that they sound amazing live as compared to video recordings of them where the sound is for the most part all over the place. It's a total different experience in the live setting.
