2:29 literally the best gun at top tier (Vulcan would be as good if it had any damage), very easy to aim, have a very nice spray so you don’t need to be a sniper, have a lot of ammo, guns are almost in the middle and on both sides that helps even more with aiming, and the most important - it is the only gun that actually deals damage, one click - one big explosion, it annihilates everything with a single shell and doesn’t care which part of the plane it hit

@@arilagi the magic 1 does turn better in dogfights but with the mig21 airframe, you only want to dogfight if its a 1v1. the j7e might not win a 1 circle but energy retention is much more important so you can get away. it still gets pl5b which is still better than the pl7 since burns fast and goes fast. you can fire it from 2.5km while chasing someone and if they dont see the missile diamond for its 1.5 second burn time theyre dead

The 36C is good. G is better because of the much improved firepower for a fairly minor performance hit, but it comes with a massive BR bump. French 75A-4 is best performance wise of all Hawks (same engine effectively as the C and G but on a slightly lighter and slightly more streamlined airframe.) and the French LMGs are among the best LMGs in game. Overall the French 75A-4 is the best of the lot in every meaningful metric. Ultimately performance wise the P-36 family is better than middle of the road but not significantly. Above average maneuverability (lots of biplanes and a number of better turning monoplanes around) with above average speed and above average climb. No matter the opponent they have some performance advantage they can use. That said with how many bad players there are at low tiers virtually everything is great at that BR if you know what you are doing. Fun fact: the Hawk family is underpowered engine wise. They handle the best from 250-350mph and most of that range is completely unusable because of a lack of engine power. If the Hawk family had about a 1,500hp radial they would be a great overall fighter for the 3.0-3.7 BR bracket. Problem is that there wasn't a radial engine of similar size that the Hawk used that could produce the required horsepower. The best was the 1,200hp found in the 36C, G and 75A-4. Later war variants of the Wright 1820 did push past 1,500hp but this was well after the Hawk family was out of front line duty. A fun theoretical what if. What if a Hawk got a later war 1,500hp+ engine.

Numerous important statistics have disappeared, they no longer have an average score, average relative position and countless other things! @DEFYN I understand your point! I think it makes a lot of sense in Air Realistic! I see it a little differently, unlike Air Realistic that Kills is the best and simplest of statistics to determine the quality of the gameplay (depending on the type of aircraft as you said), I believe that the same does not apply to the other modes in the same way! I play Ground and Air on Simulation And Realistic, and these other modes work in completely different ways than Air Realistic! Ground for example is much more dependent on the team as a whole and not necessarily kills, sometimes you get a very bad team and sometimes an OK team and in these cases I think the relative average position for example as well as the relative average score has a representativeness and much greater importance than in Air realistic! In these other modes Kills is definitely not the most accurate statistic to represent (Skill)! I spoke to some WT Veterans and they think the same, Why disappear with so many Score/Position etc statistics? We would need more like Killstreaks/Numbers of Nukes/Average Score by vehicle type/number of assistance, and not less! Even in Air Realistic, a player who likes to play Bomber, is Kills the best statistic? Because now that’s what you have! If I only played Air Realistic like you I wouldn't be so sad, but even if I were, the more information and statistics the BETTER! The funniest part is that there was no fundamental problem with the old War Thunder Player Card, and they changed it for the worse! Frustrating!

Missed the point I mentioned it because I wasn't aware I didn't have it so I pushed the planes too hard. It is perfectly manageable with the G suit as long you aren't playing a gripen or similar. Besides I haven't gotten any SL from gaijin in my years and it still isn't a problem. Ace qualification is pay to win sure which is why I don't buy them 99% of the time. Expert crew pay to win? Lmao

@@DEFYN well thats good for you, truly, but most of us arent in position where blowing 3+ mil SL(plane price, then crew price then all modifications... it all adds up) on single jet is viable... unless economy changed drastically since i stopped playing - just after the F-14 release i was just sick and tired of OP FOMO plane of the month monetization last i logged on was when i had FOUR top tier jets unlocked that i couldnt afford to buy, with 4+ top tiers bought and crewed and thats with non stop premium account and dozens of premium planes (you can check the account if you like, i use the same exact alias for basically everything including WT ) sure if i was better player it wouldnt be so damn near impossible to keep up with the economy, but as slightly above average one it was literally impossible to keep up with the release schedule at top tier, buy the damn jets, suffer from pure SL loss from atrociously painful stock grinds and be able to afford to pay the expert crew that on top tiers costs milions while SL gain for top tier match could be next to zero even with positive K/D (having ace matches in F4E or Mig-23 and ending up with 15-20k silver net payout was frankly demoralizing) the point i wanted to make is that you got so used to having expert crew and no stock grind that you often forget how it is to fly stock with basic crew which often seeps into your videos where you berate players for "making mistakes" against you when all i see people with stock planes and G-locking crew physically unable to utilize them as you seem to expect them to behave - like for example expecting someone to go into a ratefight instead of trying to onecircle, which could be mistake on the players part OR simple fact that with stock plane and basic crew its IMPOSSIBLE to ratefight due to G-lock on stock crew being so bad you black out at 6-7g almost instantly so instead automatically losing trying to do something they cannot do they hailmary the fight in going for instantaneous turn that is less likely to G-lock the pilot. i have been watching your videos for years and you unfortunatelly do this quite often - expecting every opponent you have to be in spaded plane and experted crews when in reality majority of the playerbase simply cant afford to do so.

How am i supposed to commentate on game play if I have to assume everyone is stock and has bad crews? I will assume these things because I want to let people know what he did was wrong and that you shouldn't do the same thing. It is just much easier to follow trends this way. Have I indirectly insulted people this way sure, but that isn't my aim. The only reason I am still here is to provide advise to people that need it. I am not a nitpicker, this should be clear by now if you are still watching. Fussing over details that don't matter in the grand scheme of things isn't something I consider worthwhile. I know very well how it is to fly with stock crews and stock vehicles because I still try them out whenever I get the vehicles. I will do 5-10 games in most stock vehicles to understand the performance and know what I have to recommend in case I get questions about them if the vehicle is new. When it's the 20th MiG-21bis I obviously wont put myself through it again. Do these parts make it into videos? Rarely and why is the same answer as the first part of my reply here. Giving someone a stock vehicle guide doesn't help people long term because at the end of the day it's just a chore grind you have to get through and hope your enemies allow you to kill them. I will agree that if you are completely F2P this economy is very hard on many people but the game is built around having premium and yes that has changed a little. Currently you can't lose money by simply playing as long as you don't tk. The lowest payout you can currently get out of a match is 0SL. Repair costs can only subtract from your payout untill you break even.
