Great interview man, I cheated by actually listening to the podcast rather than the video but wanted to make sure to comment on the video that I appreciate you being able to bring such talented people in and give them the space to tell their stories. It's crazy to me how many places Del was. It almost feels like his life is the movie and his character is the camera which travels to all these different places to cover so much.

Always hyped to see Del getting a lotta love. In my opinion he’s the GOAT. Introspective lyrics, concept driven, with a flow and delivery that even if it dropped today would seem fresh. Deltron 3030 is peak Hip Hop and peak music in general. Dope interview, man!

Deltrons are a work of art and they are beginning to age well. I was one of the poor few who had to wait an agonizing 10+ years for Event 2 to come out, but when it did it wasn't as good as part one. However it was an incredible album Thank you and God bless you for this interview of one of hip hops forgotten artifacts.May the world treat you good in uncertain times

You get the doooope interviews. From Sandman to Del to A.Hammer. Kudos... If you could get Nocando or Open Mike, Id be giddy. Peace.

Dope interview! I seen a few videos highlighting which artist had the best 3-album run, Del should be in this conversation. His 1st 5-albums were magnificent! Besides his 1st 2-albums and Deltron, my favorite are “Future Development” and “Both Sides of the Brain”. Even the album he dropped on El-P’s label was above average. I to was listening to the Ultramagnetic Four Horsemen a lot lately. To me, 1993 was the 2nd greatest Year of Hip Hop Album releases (of course 1988 was the pinnacle!). The Four Horseman is a stand alone album. That FF Inner City Griots was in that stratosphere as well. Keith was superb on this album! His free /blank verses, internal rhyme patterns, the off-beat on beat.
@crate8083 жыл бұрын
Man I am here totally here for that Del AND Keith run - both had outstanding output for sure. Absolutely love the way Keith switched up those patterns, and ofc how that Horseman album still bangs today - appreciate you sharing that love for it too. 👊👊🔥🔥

This was so sick, Del struck a chord w/ me the first time I heard Both Sides of the Brain.. was blown away by that album when it came to his voice, creativity and skill on the Mic. (Beats go hard af too) Had to check out his other shit and low and behold, different, but just as dope. Del also has the ability to turn a bad mood around , pretty much without fail. This was great. If you could land an interview w/ Kool Keith too that would be crazy- definitely looking forward to that new project for sure.

Great interview, but wait! Get Del back here, I've got so many questions that no one seems to be asking him. Like, did he have a time machine when writing the Deltron 3030 albums? How was he able to so accurately foreshadow and infuse so many oddly specific things in to his lyrics? Both albums, from start to finish, seem to be hyper-relevant to the current state of our world today. Songs from 2001 that mention masks, and the transhumanist agenda, even says the phrase "No Malarkey" (which was the campaign slogan for our current president). Then in 2013 puts out an album called "Event 2" (like "Event 201". if you dont know what that is, please briefly look it up) and uses the phrase "warp speed" in that album countless times (warp speed being the name of the agenda to quickly produce and distribute the controversial vaccines). Then he talks about the "Osiris agenda" which is something that's absolutely being pushed onto an unwitting society today. The list goes on and on and on. There are so many crazy-prophetic things being laid out in the lyrics in both of those albums. For those of us with "eyes to see", theres a whole lot going on in his music. I would just love to ask him soooooo many questions!! But again, great interview, I really enjoyed it!
