Hi Neethu, The starter may not perform well when it is very young. It may need a few more potentization. Don't throw it away.Keep feeding it and it will start to work.

Out of curiosity, why do you have to crush the flaxseeds but not the others? And can you crush the others for a more uniform texture? Or would that affect the overall recipe?

Unlike other seeds,Flax seeds have hard outer shell, and we can't absorb the nutrients especially omega 3 fatty acids, when we eat them whole.That is why I crushed the flax seeds. As I haven't tried making this bread by using "ground seeds powder" , I am not sure about the outcome.

Yes You can search in google there are so many starter recipes and many videos on KZbin as well. It is so easy to make.

It is made with wild yeast and so it is slower in action than commercial yeast.Its flavor is also different from regular breads.That's the beauty of sourdough bread :)
