I like the older version better as a little more of a rock person that happens to love the blues I Delta Ray's music. However, some days Im a bit more of a country mood and it's absolutely fantastic to have my fav. Group put out two versions of the same song to fit my moods. And having a two versions helps me get new people on to this group if I know that the person is typically country but I think they're ready for something different.

I'll admit, when I first heard this new version, I was skeptical like a lot of folks in the comments, but the more I've listened it's really started to grow on me! I still love the original, of course, but I also love the more traditional country sound this one has. They're both great in their own ways
