I was unable to make the UCLA squad, but regularly played with several WNBA players in pick-up games in college. It was like playing with 6th grade boy players, I could literally take the ball from them or score on them whenever I wanted. They were an absolute non-factor, I was 10x+ stronger, faster, quicker, more athletic and skilled - basically, better in every single way than them. I am confident I was better than every single WNBA player as a 17 yr. old HS player and I couldn't even make a top tier NCAA D1 men's bench. The WNBA is horrible to watch, the product sucks, and the arrogant, entitled, man-hating lesbians are insufferable with their demands that they be treated equally while not having any semblance of responsibility or accountability that comes along with that. Best idea I've heard is that the rim should go to 8 feet and at 1/2 time 2 random players from the stands get to join the girl teams. People would show up for an opportunity to just yak windmill dunks on these entitled, delusional, and arrogant excuses for athletes.

I got free tickets to a WNBA game in Las Vegas a few years ago and there was nothing else going on that night, so I went. Bill Laimbeer was coaching, so it was cool to see him but I'm pretty sure he was drunk because every time he got up, the assistant coach was holding his balance and then he'd stumble back to his chair. Nobody really showed up until the 4th quarter. And that was only because Kid Cudi was performing after the game. But then he ended up canceling the show for some reason. So instead they put the Thursday Night Football game on the video screen and about 3000 people sat in a giant fully lit arena and watched football. That was my WNBA experience.

Make the WNBA more efficient by reducing roster size, cut the front office staff, cut travel expenses, and somehow boost revenue. If the NBA pulled it's funding, the league would fold. @@JT-km6th NBA has moved the 3 point line around a bit and all it's really done is have people say "MJ could only shoot threes because the line was shorter". A shorter rim would realistically just take effect for one season and then everyone would be used to it, rookies might also struggle, but, again, shouldn't take too long to adapt. Worst case scenario, a few bad years of WNBA shooting, because we've never seen that before

Something the WNBA hasn't done in forever (make profit) That and it would be a disadvantage when the Olympics come around so it's not probable and they aren't going to risk money on a 5% chance they make money

That's literally what the WNBA is. Also, I've had to play on smaller hoops set up for younger kids in my neighborhood. It really doesn't take long to get used to one or the other.

@@KaseyC. I'm not contradicting myself at all. Multiple organizations, colleges, buildings etc would have to build more facilities to accommodate that. Because if you lower the goals the WNBA...you would have to lower the rims for courts across to the US.... because female basketball isn't just played in the WNBA so again they're not going to change goals across the US for a league that can't even break even. You are one person lol. Just because you can adjust quickly in your neighborhood doesn't mean everyone can especially after playing a whole year on a 9ft rim. They would be at a severe disadvantage playing in the Olympics against other pros who played on 10 ft rims the whole time So in theory yeah it seems right but in actual practice it would never work so they would have to find another solution

Funny thing is, I did a quick Google search for comparison of revenue of the WNBA vs NBA. I came across a website that showed revenue and th average salary of the NBA vs WNBA. The WNBA is actually a little bit higher percentage than the NBA. The difference is the revenue, NBA is 7.4 billion vs 60 million for the WNBA.
