Jetstar is the low-cost subsidiary of Qantas. They operate both the Airbus A320 and the Boeing 787 - my advice is avoid the A320 at all costs. However the 787 is another story - especially in business class.
This Jetstar Business Class flight review covers my flight back from Bali to Melbourne. It includes the business class lounge at Denpasar Airport, boarding, take-off, the Jetstar business class seat and inflight service.

Every other KZbin trip reporter could learn some things from your videos. I really appreciate your efforts to be respectful by not filming other passengers are shoving the camera in the face of the crew on your flights. So many other reviewers are incredibly disrespectful and invasive of other people's privacy. You also do a fantastic job with the camera and editing in general by showing everything that needs to be shown in a way that doesn't drag it out needlessly. Your voice overs are concise, articulate, and actually give useful information unlike so many others on here. Easily one of the best reviewers on KZbin and I'm officially a fan!

Dennis - I love your videos/reviews. Having recently flown JQ Biz class from DPS to SYD myself, I think the review is spot on with the exception of the lounge. I found it pretty shabby and over crowded (especially during the Sunday night departures). Anyway, please keep up the good work.

The screens in economy are non adjustable, where as the screen in Business is in a plastic casing that can swivel so you can still view your screen when the seat in front is reclined

Great video Dennis! On a recent trip to America we flew Jetblue Mint Class Vegas to JFK. The experience was fantastic and the seats, meals and entertainment would rival some long haul business class. While this Jetstar experience looked good they should pay attention to the Mint Class experience and price!

So in summary nice bloke falls in love with sophisticated lady and they end up flying Jetstar trying to avoid looking "down under" to the grubby underneath :) Such is the eternal love story. My wife is lucky to get me to take her in an Uber taxi to Gatwick for some plane spotting! Our back garden is far cheaper with the old binoculars...... Great review once again!

Okay so those power points looked grim as hell but having seen the rest of the product and the crew i'd happily put that down to a bad cleaning team that day. The vegi meal looked abit ad & sorry but they more-often-than-not tend to. ( very respectfully) Julie knows how to work the camera way better than you lol. Sticking with the 80s/ 90s theme music wise I was actually at a Level 42 gig( not sure if they ever made it to Oz?) when you notification came up and I had to hit mute double quick on my cell as it queued up lmao. Great review as ever and it's always nice to see the smaller airlines get a feature.

Actually very good for 5/6 hour flights esp daytime and can use points quite easily but with surcharges the GA full J ticket competitive if you need to lie down

I found this video because I wanted to see if the upgrade to business was worth it. The value of an upgrade for me is the ability to sleep in the seat and this doesn't seem worth it. All the other stuff you can keep, just give me a flat space to lie down on a long haul flight. To give you an idea, Sydney to Phuket I can get for $200 or Business for $820 off-peak with Jetstar. I would much prefer to buy two economy seats for $400, one in front of the other, rip out one of them and allow the seat to lay flat 😁 ie like the sleeper buses or trains you can get all throughout Asia. You could even get 3 seats for $600 which still works out cheaper than Business and would allow a fully flat economy bed. I don't get why airlines don't offer an option like this. Less bodies in seats also means less weight onboard so less fuel costs etc.

Jetstar may call it business class - but its really Premium Economy (with the exception of lounge access) - but it doesn't entice me - although its a million times batter than Jetstar economy. Well produced video nonetheless

I am very surprised to watch this video. We flew jetstar Melbourne to Denpasar a couple of years ago. No preflight drinks, only quick meal service after which the crew disappeared. We dropped jetstar from our consideration after that flight.

There is a pretty good, solid reason why there is a web site called Don't Fly JetStar. To my knowledge, no other airline in Oz has an ACCC award judgement for false and misleading statements. $1.95M if I remember correctly. Love your videos, but for myself, I will never set foot on another Jetstar plane.
