I can't understand why there are not more subscribers to this channel. Dennis & his crew always provide some of the most entertaining, engaging & educational content on here. I find myself as interested in the people he meets & talks with & the places where they go to eat as well as the vehicles. Dennis is such font of knowledge, yet he is not arrogant & appears to be kind & considerate to everyone. Dennis is the kind of a person who you wished was your friend. 😎

Awesome GTO and an awesome find! At 5:45 Zach ran the camera across the HVAC controls and I saw A/C. Dennis had just a minute prior mentioned how low the production was on a 400 4-speed car in ‘71, so having A/C on top of that made my heart skip a beat. What a car. Some don’t care for the nose on the ‘71-‘72 GTOs, and while it’s not necessarily my favorite I still like them. We all dream of finding stuff like this and it’s great to have this channel to get to share in what Dennis and crew comes up with.

Dennis, you are one hell of a model American. The only reason I enjoyed watching F&L was when you were in it. And I could tell at times that you didn't enjoy being around Richard. The things I've seen you do for people in your videos is just amazing. You are a true car guy. I learn so much from listening to you. Thank you from every one of your fans. I lived in Grapevine texas for 8 years, hope to make it back down soon. I'd love to shake your hand and thank you.

The more I watch Coffee Walk, the more impressed I am with Dennis' knowledge beyond just Jeeps. These barn finds are really interesting and as much as I'd like to get one, I've had it with old cars and trying to keep them running if they are driven. I finally sold my matching number 1970 454 Corvette convertible with documentation from dealer ordering from GM, to factory pickup and convoy to Omaha as 1 of 13 Shriner parade cars. Sold in January and bought a new 911 Carrera (991.2) which has been on my bucket list for decades.

There’s a 70 GTO Judge in my town that’s been sitting under tarps since at least 1988, hasn’t moved since. I asked if it was for sale back then and was told no. I went by a couple months ago and knocked but no answer, the house is a bit run down but I know someone lives there because the truck is gone in the day. Such a waste of a cool car to rot under cover. Greetings from British Columbia

Dennis, I had a ‘71 GTO 455HO 4 Speed back in ‘75. It was black with a white interior. It suffered from two major problems and being a 24 yr old guy, I didn’t have the money to keep fixing it. #1. Driver side exhaust manifold gasket leak. I changed it multiple times but always came back. #2. Rear main seal leak which ruined the clutch and it always chattered as a result. Loved the car but ended up selling it.

That Air Force sticker on the front Grill from Whiteman AFB shows it was owned by an NCO (yellow sticker) at one time. They were red for an airmen and Blue for an officer. The trunk lid will stay up with the wing by just adjusting the tension bar underneath & between the hinges. Had a 71 GTO convertible 455HO (clone)15 years ago so went through all that. The air cleaner looks more restored than nos because it looks like it has some corrosion that was painted over. They are really tough to find though so not a big deal.

You probably already know this about the Pontiac engines, but they were somewhat notorious for sheading the timing chain around the 50,000-60,000 mile mark. The cam timing gear was coated with nylon to make it quieter and it would shed the nylon coating causing the timing chain to jump. Great find and video!

Merry Christmas to Dennis and the entire family at the dealership! I love these videos! Wish I could afford any of these cars/jeeps. I miss my P.O.S. 1972 Gran Torino (first car), my P.O.S.'65 Mustang 289, and my '66 Mustang (not a P.O.S., but it was a 200 6-cylinder). Wish I had been able to keep them all. I actually also miss my '77 Mercury Marquis station wagon. I had to drive a ten-penny nail into the passenger floorboard to get rid of the water from the leak in the roof out and it got about 8 mpg, but it was a tank and road like a Cadillac. Speaking of which, I especially miss my '97 Cadillac Eldorado. Hunter green, great car. Smooth driver. Got rear-ended and totaled the day before my wedding after I picked up my tux. These days I'm driving an '09 Merc Mariner Hybrid. Boring.
