I never thought I'd like Mr. COLLINS. But getting to know the real Dennis through these videos has changed my mind. I have so much respect for him now. I suffer with depression and watching Mr Collins really helps me. His enthusiasm for cars is amazing. I love cars to, especially American cars. Thank you Mr. COLLINS, you really help me. Cheers, Dave.

Watching from the UK, hate to see cars with important history and rarity, recommended to be "pimped". Seems the fashion in the US but an absolute No No in the UK and Europe, (apart from safety upgrade stuff). Originality is King. Love the channel, and impressed with Dennis's knowledge of the Brit stuff.

"pimped" ? what cars or vehicles have they recommended be pimped ? maybe a few but NOT ALL. Dennis loves originality, plus he also likes to resto mod them. you do what sells and what you like when you are going to add them to your collections !

I love the 73 but I am biased, I own one and have for over 30 years. I hate to be 'that guy' but I want to point out that there is no such thing as a Convertible Mach 1. Mach 1 had its own body code, even separate from the 'fastback'. The hood is often referred to as a Mach 1 hood but it was known as a NASA hood when they were being produced. The hood could be ordered on most of the models. I put one on my convertible and I really like the look, I also did the front spoiler. I am not trying to discourage anyone from putting the Mach 1 stripes and such on the car, I think they look great. Thanks for the video!

I wish that Dennis would get his facts right before he does coffee walk. You could not get a Ford F-150 in 1948. Back then they were all F-1's. I know it's just a little mistake but that's how misinformation gets spread around. None of us are perfect but I have worked some folks who thought that they were.

At this point why are you not a Ford dealer specifically for mustangs. Iv owned 1000's of mustangs. Grabber Blue (I think that was the Ford name of the color) with a white top. It had a white and black interior with houndstooth pattern fabric and white vinyl seats. Another cool video. My first car was in 1973. I bought an old eight-year-old car, which happened to be a ‘65 coupe with the 289 high-performance, for $500. It had close to 80,000 miles on it. I put another hundred thousand on it and sold it for $500 around 1978. It was such a solid car with just minimal maintenance. Thanks for rekindling those memories.

It will be on the block in Greensboro NC by GAA Classic Cars 855 862-2257 , Auction for this car is February 25-27, 2021 . Being a Ford it is not worth as much as a Chevrolet and the owner doesn't have to put on a stodgie bowtie . Maybe dennis will check out the auction ? It's a million miles from texas though

I bought a 65' in 1972 for $650.00, my first car. Dark blue with a white interior ,289 three speed. 55,000 miles .Wasn't very good in the snow in Indiana because the rear was so light. I aways kept an eighty pound bundle of shingles in the trunk for traction.
@TommyRibs4 жыл бұрын
On that 73, the only changes I would make are: Put a New Manifold and a 4-Barrel carb on the 351. In ‘73 the compression was low and even the mighty 351 was detuned and low on power. A manifold and Good Carb would help a little bit and wake it up somewhat. I would address the rust issues, and since that is a rare color, I would repaint it. Full brake job, and that’s it. No spoilers, no stripes, and probably not even a Mach1 hood.

72 better, They wanted suspension but not a Q-code Cleveland 4bbl, 4 Barrel Heads not a 4 bbl carbed 2 bbl head design & 4 bolt mains. Nope give me a weaker one of those for the motor. Face it most Mustangs ride like a buckboard, the Fairlane Torino line ride much better.

Dennis just a little clarification would be when you said you owed a 48 F100 , the F1 are badged trucks ( 1948-1952 ) they are designated F1-F2 F3- and so on , the 100 badged fenders started in 1953 ......did I catch the master of info....lol . I have had three base model mustangs over the years all 66 models and currently only have a 289 motor and four speed out of a 66 ..2+2 fast back that will go into a standard shift 66 base model build .

I bought my 1st car at 12yrs old by mowing my neighbors yard. It was a 76 2dr Chevy Chevette 4cyl 4spd. Before I got my license, my dad told my little brother to pull the pick up over and jump start my car so I could mow the barn lot. Well... After he got it started he went to back up & had his wheels turned and hit the car. It spooked him so bad he nailed the gas instead of the break and it drove up the fender, A-arm & back down the B-piller area of the driver's side. Needless to say,I never got to drive it to school,it was totaled but I sure put a lot of miles on it out in the feilds doing typical things boys do at that age,donuts.... So I wound up buying a 73 Olds Delta 88 2dr (friends called it "the land ark" cus I could fit so many in it on cruise night)
