There is a lot of debate on weather this song is based off of a town in Ohio or Texas. In RHPS it's hinted that it's Ohio from the paper Janet reads in the car and the map the criminologist shows. But in this song it's suggested that it's in Texas. You really have judge that however you feel necessary :P

I loved the original Rocky Horror Picture Show. I finally saw Shock Treatment and really didn't like it all. Now? Seeing it years later? A lot of the songs are pretty good. The problem with the film? Was setting it all in a TV studio. Originally it was going to be shot in the two of Denton, Texas. Yet as others have commented, a SAG strike prevented them shooting there. So they shot it in England in a TV studio. I wish the original actors who played Brad and Janet had returned for the sequel. Plus Tim Curry. I know they did a live musical version of Shock Treatment in the UK. Hopefully the musical gets remade as a film. Plus I hope there is a third film in the Rocky Horror series, it'd make a great trilogy. My guess is Richard O'Brien is pretty much retired now.

According to IMDB "It was set to be filmed in the real-life town of Denton, Texas, but the 1979-1980 Screen Actors Guild strike meant no American actor was allowed to act at any location. Filming moved to the UK, but no English locations could pass for an American suburb, so director Jim Sharman set the entire film inside the Denton television studio." So yeah, the movie is referring to Denton Texas but it was filmed in the UK. Cheers!

@DrFeelGood6667 Actually, bro, it was more of a sequel to Rocky Horror. Richard O'Brien was never a big fan of how Shock Treatment turned out. It started as a true sequel, but executive meddling and lack of returning characters ended up taking it's toll, and it eventually became Shock Treatment. Also, the only reason we have that song is because Richard O'Brien lost the script, and some asshat took it and put it online. We could have had a new movie, but now Richard doesn't want to work on it
