I heard this when it first came out (mid-70s?). In a friend's flat located in an old brown council block near the Elephant and Castle. I basically bust a gut laughing hard. My wife and her sister were not amused. I've been laughing with it ever since!

Nah, it's not 'constructive' of 'perfectly valid'... it's totally improvised (which is why there are logical flaws within it - it's not 'polished'), but that just makes it more humane, and so more belevable - which just makes it even funnier.

I was on a school holiday back in the day, a bus of 13-14 year olds. The bus broke down late at night in a car park in a closed service station and we were waiting for a mechanic to come. We were taking turns to play cassette tapes (it was the 80’s) on the bus sound system. Someone put this album on and the bus was roaring with laughter, even the teachers who were supervising couldn’t help them selves. 😂🤣😂

At my previous place of employment I used to wait until my work mate was on a phone call then play the first 10 seconds of this quite loud. To see him go wide eyed and panic was priceless. Never quite got to the first C**t word ever but he panicked each time never the less. Good fun!

I said, "you rotter" Fucking HILARIOUS!!!! LMFAO!!!! They were priceless! Allo was the worst thing. The Tony Newley bit was pure gold. There's also a bit in one part of the album where he says, "d'you know what Anthony Newley said to me?" "No. What?" He said, "who the fuck are you!" BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!

This piece reminds me a lot of "Hotel California" by The Eagles..... but this is so much more easy to dance to.

These blokes really got that British repressed violence vibe down to a T. Brilliant!!! Cleese also worked this vein with his characters.
