Dermot is my comfort artist. His music moves me in a way that no other ever has. I have seen him twice in concert in Nashville and Franklin. They were some of the best experiences of my life. He is so humble and doesn’t even realize how much he is touching people with his music. I found him from a song called “The Closeness” back in 2017. I have been a huge fan ever since. My husband and I even walked down the aisle to “What Have I Done”. I was bummed when the tickets sold so fast at the BlueBird but so happy for everyone who got to experience that sort of intimate concert from him. I just know his voice radiated in that place.

Kiss Me is our wedding song!! We went on holiday to Vegas last year and got married there (unplanned) and a couple of days after we got home we seen Dermot live in Edinburgh - he was amazing of course and that weekend was like an extension of our wedding celebration! There was only ever one choice of artist for us for our first dance! Power over me was ‘our song’ as a couple in the early days of our relationship ❤ Thanks so much for this episode Theo!!
