I just so much enjoyed how you dressed up the planter with gold! Is the 18 karat gold spray paint a particular brand you like? You've made me brave enough to try projects with not nearly as much fear of failure as I once had - haha! Thanks!

So the table with the 2x4 wood, if you cut a 1/4 inch off each side of each 2x4 they will all have a straight edge and will look seamless. Great ideas

The nightstands looked great, but I think I would. Sorry, I'm OCD and I know I would have worked from the outside in. That way, you're balanced with the thinner piece in the center and bother larger the same width on each side. Just my opinion

You spray paint many items. How do you deal with or avoid paint drips of being thicker in other spots? I’m also hoping you can suggest a way to refresh topiary decor that has faded? I bought some $$$ decor pieces from a closing out sale, but they don’t look as good as new. I worry spray paint will glob in areas or look fake. Love your ideas! Thank you!

NataLee, I love you. You were the first channel I started watching and still my favorite. My favorite project was the Asymmetrical Dresser. I just have 1 issue. These are NOT hacks. These are DIY's, upscales, dupes, etc. A hack is more formally called A Life Hack defined as such: a usually simple and clever tip or technique for accomplishing some familiar task more easily and efficiently. You've done hack videos, these aren't the same. You have such a large following, and a lot of these people pick up on everything you say. I watch all of your videos, and when it's titled with the word hacks in it, I expect to see hacks. Don't get me wrong, I like your DIY & upscaling videos A LOT more. I take screenshots of your final pieces, and save all the HOW-TOs. But please take the word of a former English major. These aren't hacks
@designedtothenines8 ай бұрын
I understand where you’re coming from, but I have to use the same words everyone else is using to trigger the algorithm . “DIY IKEA HACKS” is the term everyone has used for years. There are entire websites dedicated to these type of projects. If I want the algorithm to recognize the content, I need to use the keywords and phrases it will understand and that is ‘DIY IKEA HACKS’ . Maybe people started using the phrase from the following definition from Merriam Webster Dictionary: a clever tip or technique for doing or improving something. I appreciate you supporting and watching the video anyway! 💕 Hope this explanation makes sense.
