This is by far one of the most helpful, practical teaching for ministry. Dr. John Piper, in my opinion, is perhaps the most prolific pastor, writer etc., of our times. His passion for what God has called him to do, is remarkably attractive. May God put that in all of us!

I love these series very much and have learnt a lot. Personally I do not spend a few last moments concentrating on the enormity of the moment. i find it more peaceful to listen to the word and worship with the congregation before i preach so it flows out of a worshipful congregation. It is not about you serving the congregation in the first place but rather worshipping with and in the congregation.

I can see the Holy Spirit working hard in you to claw at the opposing world views by pouring into men to contend for the gospel of Jesus Christ! It’s beautiful and profound.
