Destiny 2 OOB: The Hall of Champions

A new Social Space! I'm a big fan ;)
It seems we've got a return of the Niobe Labs intangible fans, so it took no time at all to escape this map. I fell through accidentally within my first 30 seconds of jumping around.
There's some cool stuff to see out there, although in this case the inside of the map has more neat stuff overall. I guess we know where all those decorations go in the off season...
Thanks to ItAvvy for letting me know about the route to get up top, and ConverseFox for showing an alternative route.
It's doable on any character, though Hunter doesn't need to use the fans, in the event that those get fixed up later.

I got everywhere possible here, but im waiting for maybe some weekly stuff to update perhaps. There are a lot of kill barriers around the super black containment.

my guess is that the death barriers are just to prevent you from getting superblack early since devs knew there were lots of OOB places

Another weird physics is the storage room has a bunch of dawning engrams that all have physics. They are stacked very neatly but you can run into them. Its gotta be at least 200 separate physics objects that surprisingly handle very well!

With the entrance to the storage area looking like the door at the bottom of the Tower ramp, I was hoping there was more than just a standalone play space D:

I found a spot to get out right above the spawn point if you load into the Hall of Champions at the little arch on the ceiling.

Have you done that on anything other than Hunter? I end up just getting stuck there.

@@Froggy618157725 Works on Titan & Warlock too, but you have to land exactly on the piece of wall itself, crouch and walk up the wall a bit before walking out of bounds. Finnicky but works just as well.

@@Froggy618157725 You need to crouch and walk up the left side (the little sliver of texture you can see), don't fall into the hole. Once you walk up the left you can just walk over the hole and not get stuck (did it on both warlock and titan)

@@Froggy618157725 it is doable with my titan. My brother a hunter found it and it took me less than 2 minutes to do it faster than him.

That hole to break the surrounding box at the 7 min mark is easier to take on tie right than on the left side as there you got a small edge to stand on to then crouch through.

the hole I think you were mentioning about only being able to do on hunter was actually the first oob I found in here (didn't know about the intangible fans until I checked raidsecrets), and it's possible to go through on any class. You just need to crouch up the solid part of the arch (without falling in between the arch and whatever wall is next to it, as that can lead to a softlock), then once you're high enough on the edge of the arch, you can walk onto the wooden beam, where you can then get out of map. Fans are much easier (and a much funnier oob), but if they ever patch it for whatever reason, there will still be a way for every class to make it out of bounds

Cool. I kept on getting stuck, and having to spam jump to eventually get back out, or fast travel.

The first day I found the little holes on the ceiling and found the way to get out almost everytime: get inside by jumping in the little bookshelf when you spawn in If your character does like he’s stuck just keep jumping, back out of the hole and try again You gotta land in the ledge exactly so you can move to the left/right depending on which hole you want to get out while being crouched Hope it helps

I appreciate when Bungie reuses assets from other maps and don't bother to check if they're solid. Those fans feel just like the walls from dreaming city. If they show up, there's bound to be holes.

I managed to get out by sliding through that hole above the spawn area and now I feel a little dumb knowing I could’ve just jumped through the fans 😅 Great video though

If you look behind the cylinder shaped room with the black heart looking thing inside it, there a massive shader icon. The segments don’t match the Superblack shaders icon but I think thats more of a lighting bug

I got thru around the back, you can squeeze in the glass on the left, but death barriers everywhere

i also noticed that the first class item chest when you walk in is off center so now it can bother you too

If you go thru the fan and get under the room next to the fan with the banners, you'll see a chest hidden under the floor. Been trying to access it for days, but can't do it

I actually found a different way to get oob on day one kinda funny lol. Once you spawn in to the hall of champions, without moving, look to the left and right corners near the ceiling and there are small openings that you can jump up to and crouch through lol

Hey Froggy, if you want I can show you how to get into the room behind the Super Black orb. Also, you can get out of a hole in spawn by just jumping up the right hand side pillar. Left side does not work.

The death barrier behind the superblack blob can be avoided by walking on the very edge of the box, no jumping required.

You can slide over a gap at the top of the windows on left or right side once you’re oob! It’s all death barriers so I haven’t been able to figure out how to even get over to the catwalks

There is actually another way to get out of the map. if you look up to the top right when spawning in there is a spot you can crouch through.

Love this, but did you know the warlock blink is disabled unless using a sword?

Blink often doesn't work if you're out of box. I heard about the sword thing. I just don't use blink outside of when I need to blink through a barrier of some sort ;)
