I can’t believe how different this wig looks in different colors. Why is that…makes for very indecisive purchasing. This is the color I would get but the wig itself looks better in both the blonde and red shades I have seen in reviews.

Hi Donna! I think it mostly has to do with how the reviewer styles it. Of course there are some variances in wigs. I don't know which reviews you are referring to - perhaps those reviewers did not trim the bangs like I did? I normally steam my wigs away from the face (on a block head) but did not feel it was necessary with Wavy Day because the curl pattern helps keep the fibers out of the face (for the most part). You're very welcome, DW!😊 I purchased Destiny from Wig Studio 1 with my own funds using my employee discount, so I don't think she was modified prior to my purchase. I have a fairly long face and a 22" circumference, so perhaps compared with someone who has a petite circumference, Destiny looks shorter on me. I did trim the bangs...💖

Great review, Michele, on a cute style. I have not tried a Belle Tress wig yet as my head circumference is 21” and 11” ear to ear - so the size scares me a little. I thoroughly enjoy your detailed reviews, thank you!😊

You're very welcome, Deborah!😀My head circumference is 22” and my ear to ear is 12.25”. I think this Belle Tress wig could possibly work for you. The way I have it, the adjusters can still be tightened quite a bit and there is about a finger's width of space between my ear and the bottom of the ear tab. I LOVE this style! Unfortunately, the Belle Tress colors are not for me and the wig cap was too big. Do you know of a similar cut in Raquel Welch (I love her color options) or another brand where the colors are the same in different styles? I am trying to find 3 wigs in the same color (beach wave, straight bob, and one long enough for a pony tail). I think I would prefer heat friendly (not as shiny) with full mono top or hand tied. I am new to wig wearing (have had a human hair toppers in the past but they have seen better days and it is time to replace with something else). Thank you for your input. You are my favorite reviewer because you are so straight forward...always give the pros and cons , explain what you like and don't like, show colors in natural daylight, explain the colors, and do the wrap up at the end. I always look forward to what you have to say about each new wig. Thank you!!

Those might be good options for you. I would have said On Point for the straight bob but she has a center mono part, not a mono top. I have not tried Big Time or Editor's Pick but you can find reviews for Simmer and Pretty Please! on my channel. Hope this helps!💖

The back is sticking out away from your back. How could that be fixed so it would have the hair lay closer to the back of the neck?

Sorry for my delay in responding! In this case, I think it was the angle of the filming or that I needed to comb the wig (with my fingers or a wide tooth comb). I did experience what you are talking about (from your other message) at one point with a human hair bob wig. That wig had an extended nape and I found that trimming the extended nape helped. If you are sure that you are keeping your wig, you could try steaming it on a block head (here's a link to my steaming video - kzbin.info/www/bejne/oJSnnaeZndCEqrc) or sewing the cap to make it smaller (don't stitch the lace front or monofilament portions of your cap). If that doesn't work, you could trim the extended nape (if there is one) so that it looks like a standard nape. Of course, you will lose the fibers that are attached and doing this is at your own risk. Also, keep in mind that sometimes there are metal stays in this area that will need to be removed so that they don't poke you. Hi! First, I want to let you know that once you change the style of a synthetic or heat friendly synthetic wig with steam, you will need to use heat again to change it back. For a synthetic wig I would only recommend using steam or a plastic hot air brush on dry fibers. If it's a heat friendly synthetic style you have more options. Be sure to follow Jon Renau's recommendations - jonrenau.com/blog/care-and-tips-for-hd-fiber/ Washing the wig will not cause the fibers to revert to the original style. If you are not able to style your wig the way you would like, I suggest contacting customer service where you purchased your wig and they should be able to help you.💖
