I made an announcement to class saying that grabbing people is inappropriate and IRL they could catch a case for sexual harassment. Six girls angrily said that it happens all the time. I asked do they tell admin and that they should defend themselves by popping them in the head and cussing them TF out letting them know they not the one. They told me that they would end up getting in trouble and not the ones who assaulted them. Unfortunately, for the last part of the video. I've already moved past the old "let's unify" plea. I've also made myself tone-deaf to heinous crimes that happen to BM by the hands of their enemies. The riverboat brawl gave me pause because not one man defended a BW when she was attacked by a man. So, I see where their allegiances lie. It's to themselves. Other than that, I think that BW must understand that the main reason justice has been slow is because for generations we shielded the perpetrators in our communities. So, the more we embrace our rights and defend ourselves. Justice will become swift. I'm glad we're waking up.

Many BK men expect you to put up with mess because historically that’s what BK women have had to do. BK women have had to overcome racial and gender barriers. Let’s not forget, BK men are still men at the end of the day. Once they started overcoming those racial barriers (with the support of BK women, by the way) they continued to do what men do. The problem is BK women didn’t have the protection that YT women had so the abuse became rampant. BK women endured this because 1) BK women knew they didn’t have this protection and 2) society and YT beauty standards had BK women believing that their choice of men was very limited. The best way to keep mistreating a group of people is to keep them scared and take away their choices. We see it now with some men and their podcast microphones telling women they’ll unalive alone (scare tactic) and to worry less about independence and more about getting a “protector and provider” (removing choices and creating dependency) 😒 The best thing a BK woman can do is be aware of the choices and not be afraid to use them. If that includes dating outside the race, fine 👍🏾. If that means calling the police, Ok 👌🏾. If that means going to school or working 8hrs a day because you’d rather provide for yourself than ever allow someone to abuse you for a meal or place to stay then, No problem 😉.

There were several instances when I should've called the cops. I regret it now, b/c I think I enabled him to hurt some other unsuspecting woman. A black guy asked me oit and I said I wasn't interested. I heard countless times the way he talked to his sisters and mother on phone and I didn't want to be associated with that. He was shocked as these were black women and I was a brown woman. Why would I feel so strongly for the group of women I don't even associate to? This got me wierded out as why wouldn't I care about how he was treating other women as I am a woman myself. I'm sorry if I am not getting something but for me it was confusing as some of my friends said that I shouldn't have talked about it to him. Hi @DestinyUteh the shirt thing refers to when someone passes on, and the family prints their picture on a T-shirt for family and friends to wear in memorium.

The black woman blaming white people for the disunity - needs to start reading She thinks us RESPONDING is a problem vs looking at who is CAUSING the problem. She is still lost.

Yeah read the Bible and see how God blames the bm for his evil ways. This has nothing to do with other nations. This is the bm's own doing and his own judgement. 👉🏾 Ezekiel 22:1-16.👈🏾

Actually, I translated that to believe we aren’t supposed to be around these males at all. All races. That’s why there’s so much S assault. We shouldn’t even be around them.

I think the t shirt reference is when family and friends put a picture of a deceased loved one on a T-shirt at their wake or if they do something in their memory. So she's saying either end them or call the police. Bloody sad all round!

My ex was stalking me and threatened to assault me and I didn’t want to call the police or involve them because I was worried about his professional career. I should have called. After blocking him on EVERYTHING and refusing to go home because he’d just be outside my house waiting, he just stopped bothering me. For 3 months, no contact, no nothing from him. Then one day as I’m leaving my house he pulls up and assaults me at gun point. I called the police afterwards and they closed in on him. He ended up getting into a shot out with the police and ended up flatlining himself once they had him surrounded. I wonder if he’d be alive today if I would have just called the police.

someone else commented that "Ending up on a T-shirt" means funeral memorabilia. The meaning i can find is for TEE-shirt and not tshirt. "Slang. to reprimand severely; scold". I guess both can be applied.

Putting the pictures on a shirt is something that the African-American community does when their loved ones die. They’ll put their pictures on T-shirts and everyone at the funeral. Will wear the T-shirts. It’s kind of like their version of Asoebi.

Black Americans(especially in "urban" areas) often commemorate dead/imprisoned relatives on t-shirts to show support. Usually disregarding the crime or the shenanigans that lead to the death

Last year this dude tried to run me off the road after I took to long to go through the green light. We were both going down the same lane into the strip mall parking lot so the girl that was driving sped up around and parked then he jumped out and blocked me with a gun. I backed up went down the next lane picked my daughter up from work and called the police so fast. My husband said I should of put him on a shirt because I’m a registered owner in an open carry state. He got a felony and I felt guilty.
