Success.....I know from reading many of the comments, that many of you like myself have wanted to make the gun a "Stubby" as Josh mentioned in his video. They might make one, however I couldn't find anything that would work directly with the OEM thread (14mm 1.5 pitch by the way). what I finally did was take the gun apart, remove the OEM fitting on the end. This is a 1/8 pipe thread, at this point you just need a reducing bushing. I went from 1/4 to 1/8, then added on the 1/4 quick connect fitting. Put the gun back together and it looks like it came that way.....minus the Teflon tape....LOL I shot a small video and will post it to my channel when I get a minute so you can see what the finished product looks like. Hope this helps a few of you out there and I would like to thank Josh for sharing his time and knowledge to the rest of us.

I have the Dewalt 2100 PSI 1.2 GPM Pressure Washer. I use it to clean the vinyl fence and to clean concrete also to wash the car. I put a pressure gauge on my unit to check the PSI. With the white spray nozzle I typically see pressure readings of 1400 PSI. I use the white spray nozzle for cleaning the fence and it does a great job. The Yellow spray nozzle I use to clean concrete and typically I see pressure readings of 1700 PSI. The Yellow spray nozzle does a fantastic job cleaning concrete it is just slower than a bigger unit. I have seen the line pressure on my gauge go as high as 2600 PSI and the output pressure reading at the nozzle at a steady and amazing pressure of 2200 PSI.

in order for a quick connect to work you need to take off the thread with rubber seal and put on a 1/4-in x1/8-in Threaded Male Adapter Bushing Fitting. You can get it from lowes or HD. Unscrew the gun and it takes a lot of effort to loosen the fitting. After that than any 1/4” quick connect to female fitting will work.
