Success.....I know from reading many of the comments, that many of you like myself have wanted to make the gun a "Stubby" as Josh mentioned in his video. They might make one, however I couldn't find anything that would work directly with the OEM thread (14mm 1.5 pitch by the way). what I finally did was take the gun apart, remove the OEM fitting on the end. This is a 1/8 pipe thread, at this point you just need a reducing bushing. I went from 1/4 to 1/8, then added on the 1/4 quick connect fitting. Put the gun back together and it looks like it came that way.....minus the Teflon tape....LOL I shot a small video and will post it to my channel when I get a minute so you can see what the finished product looks like. Hope this helps a few of you out there and I would like to thank Josh for sharing his time and knowledge to the rest of us.

I have the Dewalt 2100 PSI 1.2 GPM Pressure Washer. I use it to clean the vinyl fence and to clean concrete also to wash the car. I put a pressure gauge on my unit to check the PSI. With the white spray nozzle I typically see pressure readings of 1400 PSI. I use the white spray nozzle for cleaning the fence and it does a great job. The Yellow spray nozzle I use to clean concrete and typically I see pressure readings of 1700 PSI. The Yellow spray nozzle does a fantastic job cleaning concrete it is just slower than a bigger unit. I have seen the line pressure on my gauge go as high as 2600 PSI and the output pressure reading at the nozzle at a steady and amazing pressure of 2200 PSI.

Thanks to this review I hit up my local Facebook Marketplace and found a unit for sale. I won't go into any details of my purchase experience but lets just say I scored a new warranty replaced unit from Dewalt for $70 CAD. One thing you missed about the handle is the locking tab which is inset on the plastic frame, excellent idea.

I recently picked one up on sale ($200). I purchased the the recommended Uberflex hose for mine. The kinky stock hose drove me nuts and is the only negative I have on this unit. It was obviously built to a price point. The suitcase design is a storage game changer. It should win an award. Excellent tip on the UberFlex hose!

Maybe you can use plumber's tape over the threads to tightly couple the adapter to the gun. You won't have an o-ring but if it's tight enough it shouldn't leak.

Same issue! I’ve tried a few different “brands” of M22:1/4 quick connects and called DeWalt they don’t have an answer and recommend M22:1/4. Only their wand connects. Glad I came back here to see if others are having the same issue versus trying to exchange the unit.

I had to to the gun apart and take off the connection at the end. I swapped it out for a 1/8th to 1/4 connection to make it compatible with everything else

Did you try the soap nozzle?
@S0RELOSER
@S0RELOSER 2 жыл бұрын
I did. Pretty cool that it automatically knows to dispense soap. Bad news? The soap tank lid leaks horribly. Im hoping it’s just a defective unit and not a design flaw.

Just FYI, the longer the hose, the more pressure you will lose over the line length.
@imjoshv
@imjoshv 4 ай бұрын
That’s true for longer hoses for sure. I’ve tested up to a 100’ and there was no measurable difference at that length. There might be some loss but not enough to notice with the tools I’m testing with

@@imjoshv lol ok...yes it's like if you're using a krenzler on a 15amp outlet you won't get the maximum performance.. because it requires a 20Amp outlet it will work but performance will be low an psi...good job on your videos brother your doing great

Love your channel but am seriously struggling on which pressure washer on the market to buy. I need one to clean my concrete walkway 1-2 times a year, the outside of the house once every couple years, and for my personal car getting the most use 12-24 times a years. Any suggestions on what electric would be strong enough for concrete and soft enough for a Tesla?
@Brian-dj3ru

For a car,you don't want to use a unit that's over 2000psi..up to 2000psi is safe on car paint without the worry of any damage..you could use a more powerful unit but you have to be careful about how close you get to the car and use the right nozzle attatchment..and 2800psi or higher is recommended for concrete.so if you dont want to buy 2 pressure washers, i would just get a 2800psi pressure washer and just be careful with it on your car.hope this helps

You can drop the pressure with larger tips. Vehicle around 1000 psi.

These are basically my requirements as well, so would like a recommendation. I am admittedly very impatient, so the Greenworks 2300 is out due to that annoying 5 second delay everytime you pull the trigger. Total Stop feature is a must have also. Considering this DeWalt unit and the Ryobi 2300 or any other proven suggestions.

Can I remove the connection from the tip of the extention rod and connect it direct to the gun so I can use it short
@nick34377
@nick34377 2 жыл бұрын
in order for a quick connect to work you need to take off the thread with rubber seal and put on a 1/4-in x1/8-in Threaded Male Adapter Bushing Fitting. You can get it from lowes or HD. Unscrew the gun and it takes a lot of effort to loosen the fitting. After that than any 1/4” quick connect to female fitting will work.
