Car Craft Auto Detailing has better 50/50’s and is a Jedi-level detailer, obsessed garage does better tool reviews and is more knowledgeable (even tho I hate that guy), Apex Detail is an uncontested pro. Pan the Advertiser just makes commercials for companies and collects checks. He has no barometer of what makes a product any good. Tesla ain’t as bad but he wants to be, hence the mountains of affiliate marketing

Use filtered water. You don't need a lot of soap to get foam either. 2-3 oz per canister. Make sure the mesh inside the foam cannon is clean and turn the nob all the way up for maximum foam. I have a full house filter then a deionizing filter to my pressure washer. You don't need all that filtration. Just a simple home filter or inline filter for rvs that connect directly to the water hose spigot will work.

I bought this little guy about a week ago and for the price, you cannot beat it! It took about 10 minutes to assemble and about 1 minute to hook up some water and start washing. I'm new to power washing things around the house and I wanted something easy and portable to clean my siding, deck, and a stone slab - and this thing is it. Needless to say, it tackled them all flawlessly with the default attachments. In regards to the slab - I actually didn't have time to finish it, but I knocked out a corner just to test and I'm very happy with the results.. I'm actually looking forward to this coming weekend to finish the whole slab.

I have the version with the black housing. I had bought a Greenworks electric pressure washer from Lowes when my gas-powered unit went in for repair. The GreenWorks lasted about 4 months.. the pump seals went ( a light mist at first to a full-blown failure). I saw the Ryobi on sale for $80 at the "big orange box" and said "why not"? It works like a champ. I did save the framework that the Greenworks unit came on, I am making a small shelf to put the Ryobi on to make it easier to wheel around.

I've been using this Pressure washer for the last few months ever since watching this video, I got mine off Amazon and is different color, this color is a Home Depot exclusive. It's been amazing and hasn't given me a bit of trouble. The turbo nozzle never gets used, the standard tips are perfect for car detailing and washing. I converted the gun over to a Ridge Washer snubby gun and it works perfectly. The standard handle I use with the Ryobi wheeled undercarriage washer however.

I received my pressure washer kzbin.infoUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP over the weekend and decided to wait for the sun to come out before firing it up. Was needed to clean the deck. Our last pressure washer broke a couple of seasons ago, and I just hadn't replaced it yet. This one had great comments, so here we are. It was easy to assemble, and the trigger wand is comfortable and easy to hold for long periods of time. The pressure washer worked great and made quick work of the "TN North side algae" that inevitably grows every year. I also washed all of the deck furniture while I was at it... it all looks great! So far I am happy with this purchase. I plan to climb the ladder to wash siding over the next couple of days, will update if I have anything else to add after that!

I just wanted to express my gratitude for your helpful guidance in helping me set up my home car washing system. Thanks to your advice, I was able to make informed decisions on each component and spend money where it was necessary while saving money where possible. I decided to invest in the Griots "Boss" foam cannon and was impressed by the quality of foam and how it dispersed itself. I also picked the McKillan stubby gun and upgraded to quick connects, as you suggested. This left me with the task of finding a pressure washer to use solely for this purpose. After watching a video, I was confident that the Ryobi 1800 would be perfect for my needs. I bought a set with openings of .025 after understanding the tips and flow rates. With this setup, I was able to achieve excellent foam and an outstanding rinse with the 25-degree tip. In the end, I was able to create a system that fit my requirements and cost less than $250.00 for the entire setup. Thank you once again for your invaluable assistance.

I just purchased this Ryobi 1800 psi pressure washer based off this review. I didn't realize how tiny it was until I opened the box. I just used it today and so far I really like it. HOWEVER, I can easily see how the longer hose will be beneficial. So, I am going to get the Uberflex and the 2.5 nozzles that are both linked above in this video. I was also surprised by how quiet this unit was. I was using my neighbor's gas powered pressure washer but I like this Ryobi much better. Sure, it is NOT nearly as powerful as the gas powered washer but this little unit meets and exceeds my needs for washing cars and hosing off my cool deck and sidewalks.

Question is I use a 40 degree 3.5 orifice on my gas washer will that be OK on the Ryobi? If not what would you suggest. I did not see it coming with a 40 degree tip. All my tips are 3.5 from the gas one.

Not a professional detailer...just my personal vehicles. I opted for the Ryobi about a month ago and so far very pleased. I did scrap the included bits and pieces and went with a MacKillans foam cannon with swivel handle and an aftermarket flexible hose. I did need an adapter to convert the Ryobi 'out' nipple to accept the standard hose fitting size but other than that, nothing else. I just couldn't see spend hundreds for a washer, or $1000+ for a Kranzle for my limited use. This little thing works just fine for my intended use.

Just bought your whole set up. Gun, hose, quick connects etc. and this Ryobi 1800 from Home Depot. My garden hose isn't kinked, hose seems to have good pressure but the unit only gets up to about 1400 psi with the nozzle it comes with. When I put on a 2.5 it goes down to about 850 and the 3.0 down to around 500. Any suggestions? I know you suggest about 1100 to wash. How do I accomplish with this unit. Should I return it and opt for a different unit? Thanks

So I'm only going to use this for car washing, because I have a much bigger gas powered pressure washer for other things around the house. I just needed something easier to grab and able to not tear up a car. I'm a little concerned about the GPM but if you think putting that bigger. Orifice will give me enough GPM to rinse off the car, then I would get this. Just really nervous about that.

Hi, I love your reviews because they are very thorough! I have a couple questions.... First, Im considering using this PW as a small sewer jetter, fit smaller drains such as lav drains and kitchen drains... for kitchen drains, it would be helpful to use warm/hot tap water tob help breakdown the grease, but I see this unit says "Cold Water pressure washer", will it hurt anything within the unit to use hot tap water under approximately 115°F? Next question, I have a boat that stays "In Water" for 6 months out of the year, is there a foam soap that is environmentally friendly that would take the typical dead bugs/bird poop/dust and grime, that won't remove wax (and might have a liquid wax built in)? Thanks in advance!

Hello there. I purchased this unit I actually used it today ,Its nice little unit ,I also Ordered a Westhouse EPX3100v 2100 PSI 1.76 GPM How do you compare both of these ? Have you over used Westhouse EPX 3100 ? I don't like the fact they don't come with the wheels . The hose on Ryobi is super thin needs to be replaced with higher quality for sure. any inputs ? The reason I bought the electric one I have a 2024 Corvette Z06 don't want to use my 3500 Gas pressure washer . I do like the Active 2.0 pressure washer . I don't want to spent $400 for washing my car for 15 minutes a day ,not worth it to me

Love your videos! Just bought a new pressure washer and I’m new to the game. Is it not recommended to use a zero g 5/8 garden hose with a pressure washer? The 1/4 hose I have happens to be commercial grade and is not flexible at all. Any recommendations?

@imjoshv
@imjoshv 7 ай бұрын
40 degree is great but I think a 4.0 will reduce the psi too much. I think a 2.5 or 3 would be perfect

Just purchased the 1800, perhaps a dumb question, but mine has a hard white plastic "plug" in the inlet where a filter would normally occur. I can't blow any air past this, seems it would block water. It seems like it is made to be in place as it doesn't easily remove. I did not try this yet to see if in fact water flows past it but it seems unlikely. Nothing in the instructions about removing this, just leave it and run it? seems weird

I have this pressure washer. Its pretty awesome. Took off years worth of shit on my vinyl siding. Its a little slower going since you need to be very close to the siding with the tip to get the deepest cleaning, - but this machine is so small, so convenient, and so easy to use - theres really NOTHING to not like. I bought the entire set of quick connects and a cheap $25 stubby wand - its perfect. I have a big gas John Deere pressure washer and I’d rather use this. Who wants to listen to that gas one running, and i can walk away from this without worrying about anything for as long as I need or want to.

Josh I agree with gpm rinses off more than psi. But what about if your mobile on gravity wouldn’t it be the other way around as water is limited. I guess you can always ask the customer to use their water if you have that option if your tank gets too low. But the professional thing is to try to have enough water to complete the job
