I dont know if im stupid or if its intentional but I always understand " our sense of awe" instead of artisans of vaul

Well, he always leaves me in awe. So I guess it's fitting

@OneNintendoPlayer 😅 That's a very generous approached to my mumbled speech 😁

😅 I can only say its the accent and I should probably enunciate better. Its a bad habit 😅

@@ArtisansofVaul well, thats your way of seeing it. Personally, its one of the most.... recognizible I guess things about your style (like the red colour) even if its unintentional but am only a few vids in lol. But I dont mean to be objectifying you into a brand or style, its just something I noticed:)
@ArtisansofVaul7 ай бұрын
@ez9566 😁😁😁Thanks 👍🏻 I agree on the red colouring as a lot of people when I once suggested changing colours were quite vocally against changing as they said it helped recognising the content. I hadn't ever thought of the speech "choices" being part of it but that's awesome to hear 😁

It's a great way of adding some quick detailing in loads of situations.
@eitantal7267 ай бұрын
I watched such tutorials before. It's a quick and easy way to add ornaments. Plop in a squiggly, some radii, twists, and an interesting profile and you're done. This is a trap! The world of ornaments is deeper and richer than that
@ArtisansofVaul7 ай бұрын
Oh I totally agree, that's why I deliberately didn't mention detailed ornaments with complex profiles. You can do a lot with these tools in Blender but certain elements just don't work, especially things like the rounded ends of a lot of the ornamental work you find. But for pointed ends it can work fine.

Very helpful! It took me a while to realize Taper Start and Taper End are "percent distance from the last point where it starts to taper off."
@ArtisansofVaul7 ай бұрын
Yeah. I'd like to be able to do it as an absolute distance. Probably doable with geonodes
